Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Orange County

Loved our stay at Villa Pinea. We are MCM lovers and this home is a perfect time capsule. The design and furniture are super livable and beautiful. The space is perfect for a long stay. There are spaces for work, rest and hanging out. The kitchen has everything and the listing is well stocked with all you need for coffee or big dinner. During the day, the house is serene and peaceful with views of nature from every window. At night you will be joined by all the sounds of nature including frogs and an occasional screech owl. This is a great place for rest and relaxation and Durham/ Chapel Hill are both 10 minutes away.

We truly enjoyed staying at Mary's home. It is super comfortable and welcoming and in a great location. The screened in back porch is great for a family gathering! The amenities are excellent. We were all thoroughly delighted with our stay and Mary is a wonderful host.

I can’t say enough positive things about this stay. Erin is an amazing host. The house was spacious, clean and exactly as described. We will definitely return.

Had a wonderful stay at Hope's place in Carrboro. Lots of room to spread out, comfy beds, can't beat the location! We really appreciated having a pack and play and high chair waiting for us. Hope also accommodated our ask for a late check out. I would recommend this Airbnb and would book again!

Graduation weekend at the arboretum was perfect for our family. Beautiful, peaceful, and interesting surroundings, and a fantastic house with lots of space and thoughtful details. The deck, screened in porch and smaller porch off the kitchen were perfect. No problem at all with connectivity. Location was also just right. You can get to Carrboro and Chapel Hill quickly but get out of there later and return to quiet. Only detail I would change is the poison ivy. Ugh, there's quite a lot.

We enjoyed a pleasant and comfortable stay. Same as our first stay 2 years ago. Would return in a heartbeat if the occasion arose.

We loved the peace & quiet & beautiful surroundings! It was a very private and comfortable home with everything we needed, including a large fenced in backyard for our dog. Shawn & Kathryn were very prompt and helpful in dealing with a couple of unexpected house issues. We would love to stay at this home again sometime.

I had a fantastic stay at Dale's place! The home was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect, with easy access to grocery stores and restaurants. Dale's was incredibly welcoming and provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. The amenities were top-notch, and I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and well-equipped kitchen. We even asked to stay another night last minute and he was more than accommodating. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

We stayed at Martha's townhome for a month. It's in a nice development with ample parking space and beautiful walking trails. The townhome itself is nicely decorated with mementos from Martha's many trips. Martha was very responsive. If you are looking for a place in Chapel Hill or Durham, this is an easy decision.

Perfect place for us to stay for graduation weekend. Bed and sleeper sofa were very comfortable. Kitchen was well supplied. Host was responsive.

My son and I really enjoyed staying at Dale's place. It had everything we needed. We especially liked that we could walk to the grocery store across the street and to beautiful trails for running. Franklin Street was a very short drive away. The place was very peaceful and family-oriented. I would stay there again!

This was perfect for my family while attending my nephew’s wedding. We have started talking about visiting again soon. Bonus was seeing deer roaming the neighborhood daily and we even saw an albino deer for the first time ever! What a beautiful weekend with beautiful ! ❤️

Great spot for a weekend in Chapel Hill! The house is filled with amenities & is conveniently located. The ducks in the back yard are the best part!

Great house and host

I had a wonderful stay at Mary's guesthouse! The space was clean, cozy, and felt like a true home away from home. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of appliances, pans, tools etc. which made cooking easy. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. Mary's gardens made for a peaceful and relaxing setting. The location is in a quiet rural area, however it's conveniently close to shops, restaurants, and centrally located to Durham, Hillsborough, and Roxboro. Mary was an exceptional host — warm, friendly, and very accommodating. She made sure I had everything I needed and was always available if I had any questions. I highly recommend Mary's guesthouse to anyone looking for a comfortable and serene place to stay.

This beautiful carriage house is nicely located in a lovely neighborhood and close to many amenities. The interior is clean and spacious with lots of natural light. It was a perfect location for our stay in Hillsborough and we will definitely visit again. Thank you Sue!

This was a very unique house and we’d stay here again with one heads up for future travelers. It's a Great house. The house can accommodate a family and for example grandparents pretty easily between the two floors. The location was great with short-drive access to UNC and embedded in a very green botanical setting which we loved. Also very pet friendly and the hosts are awesome. The house is covered in windows which is absolutely amazing for being able to walk around the house and see the outside from any room in the house. The heads up for the future travelers is, and I mostly say this for people with kids who want them to sleep or the not-morning people out there, all of the bedrooms have windows but very few of those windows have blinds. The morning sun fills the rooms early and there is nothing at all stopping it. If you want to sleep in, bring a sleep mask.
