An hour's drive from Lillehammer, Viken Fjellgård is idyllically located by the lake Espedalsvatnet. With us, our guests can use our two boats, and canoe freely, or enjoy themselves on the pier with swimming, fishing, fire pan and food. You can go on a mountain hike right from the farm, stroll in the forest, or walk on the trails around the water. In late summer and autumn it is nice to pick mushrooms and berries. It is a 5 min drive to the high mountains, and it is only 45 min drive to Jotunheimvegen and Jotunheimen's beautiful surrounding area.

Unique location by Randsfjorden and the wonderful nature. Here you can recharge your batteries and take part in all the sights and activities for big and small that are nearby. You come to ready-made beds, as well as towels. I'll do the laundry after you check out. But remember to wash up. The cottage consists of a living room/kitchen with sofa bed (140 cm) as well as a large bedroom with a continental bed (180 cm) and a sofa bed (160 cm). There is an outhouse, as well as a shower in the form of a bathroom in Randsfjorden. Welcome!

For de med ski er det tilgang til skibod med “skiwise” for å stelle skiene. Det er hage og plen rundt huset og det er greit å gå ned til Lom sentrum. Vi er en barnefamilie med aktivt barn. Noe lyd må påberegnes.

The view from the stairs was magnificent, and the stay was beyond all expectations. We used the available travel bed (however, we missed the bottom plate; this was not found). A cot was also available on the second floor. We traveled with two children, 2.5 years and 7 months old. We therefore all slept on the ground floor, which was a little cramped with the travel bed, but perfectly safe. A safety gate for the stairs was also available. For families with older children, the second floor will be a good option. We look forward to another visit!

This is the first time we're staying on a ranch. The cabin is quite charming and has been tastefully decorated. It's well-equipped and very user-friendly. What delighted us the most was the view from the cabin window—on a carpet-like meadow, a flock of sheep were strolling right outside the cabin. Behind the cabin, there were several beautiful horses that seemed curious about us and appeared to be in good health. This truly is a lovely place to stay, and it provided us with a wonderful experience. The little sheep are absolutely adorable, and we spent a lot of time watching their various social activities while sitting by the window.

Thorild and Terje were incredibly welcoming and warm. The house had fantastic views and there was a silence here that gave soul rest. The children of 3 and 7 years of age had a great time and loved being able to go to the goats that grazed right behind the house or down to greet the horses. We took a beautiful walk around the plot that led us to a large lake where it was nice to sit down to enjoy the lunch package. I can highly recommend this place.

We spent 3 days in Heges cozy accommodation and had a really great stay. Everything you need is there, the surroundings are super quiet and close to nature, Hege always responded quickly and very friendly - it was perfect! We were there with our son (14 months) and our dog and can confirm that the apartment is very suitable for both. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back😊

Ketil and Janne's house is located on a beautiful farm in a great area. We were received very nicely. The house offers everything you need. It is very cozy and very modernly furnished. You can take very nice hiking tours from there. Shopping and restaurants are just a few minutes away by car. If you are looking for peace in an idyllic area, this is the place to be! We would come back.

We felt right at home. The house is beautifully situated above Favang with a great view. We were greeted nicely and had everything we needed. Communication with Julia was excellent. We had enough wood for the stove to make ourselves comfortable. We were able to spend a nice week skiing. For cross-country skiing, Hafjell is better suited and also only 30 minutes away. We will be happy to come back.

Very easily a top-notch AirBnB experience — 10/10! Ivar and Astrid go above and beyond sharing their accommodations and cultivating a charming, cozy stay rich in family history. A peaceful oasis surrounded by nature for the adventurous. We adjusted our trip to spend more time here! Each detail — from the furniture, kitchen amenities and sauna to the radio, book collection, and wood burning stove — made us feel right at home. We hope to be back one day.
