Walden is located in the middle of the unique coulissen landscape of the Frisian woods. Trees, hedges and wooded borders surround the meadows. With grasslands, water, and patches of forest in between. It looks cozy, those grasslands among the trees. Smûk, we say in Frisian. As many as 250 species of birds and many other animals live here. The area also received pingos as a gift from the Ice Age. Located in the middle of 2 national parks: Lauwersmeer and the Alde Feannen. Ideal cycling and hiking area.

The Wandelschuur is on the edge of the forest, within walking distance to the Waddenzee and Lauwersmeer. Decorated with taste and color, moreover, there are no houses and buildings to see when you look out through the high glass facade with French doors. The Wandelschuur is a wooden cottage on a residential yard. You will sleep in the romantic loft in a spacious double bed. A nice base for mudflat walking, a day in Schiermonnikoog, hiking, cycling around Lauwersmeer, eating fish, etc. :)

Our holiday home is located in the back house of the farm and is suitable for 6 people. There are 3 bedrooms (1 with ensuite shower), 2 bathrooms, 4 toilets, a spacious living room, dining room, a kitchen and 2nd living room in the hayloft. There is free wifi, TV with extensive channel package and Netflix. Around the farm is a large garden (6000m2) where you can enjoy the sun or read a book. Het Zeeroosje One minute from the Wadden Sea!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Zeeroosje is 100 m away from the Wadden Sea in Friesland. It is an authentic fisherman's cottage from 1880 with modern amenities. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. The Rose Room has a comfortable double bed and the Lighthouse Room has two single beds. Even tall people can sleep in the cozy bed in the living room. In front of the house is a garden where you can sit and there is a patio behind the house.
