Quiet neighborhood a short walk from the station.

The space was larger than the Tokyo hotels we were accustomed too, which was welcome. the bed was very comfortable and the space very clean. the host was very good with communication leading up to our booking and during.

Great location only a short walk from Omonichi station. It is a new building with modern and very clean amenities. The bed was very comfortable and there was a couch with bedding for our 5 year old to sleep in. I would highly recommend staying here if spending time in Onomichi.

Mari was a lovely and communicative host! The spot is also incredibly accommodating and quiet. Felt right at home!

Self check-in is very convenient and simple. The place was very clean, and spacious, it is suitable for a couple or more (another room is also available if needed). Matches the description.

Absolutely beautiful home! A true oasis with a huge yard to relax and enjoy the sunset. We loved staying in a historic Japanese style home - the architecture and light was incredible and all the thoughtful details and accessories throughout made for a very elevated experience. Also appreciated the huge TV we could connect to Netflix and watch from bed, and ability to cook our own meals in the kitchen or BBQ outside. All in all a lovely place to stay outside the bustle of Onomichi, but we did find it challenging trying to get a cab to pick us up on the Didi app and had to walk back into town to catch our train.

We had a great time in Onomichi Villa. It is a well maintained old mansion, very spacious and located in the prime location. Just a few minutes hike and you will reach Senkoji. Really enjoyed watching trains go by from the garden.

During my stay, I had a more fulfilling time than I imagined, not only because of the wonderful environment, but also because of the host's warm hospitality! I appreciate the very friendly and kind service. It was a space where I could relax deeply, and it felt like a home away from home. I would definitely visit again, and it was a lovely place to stay that I would recommend to my friends!

Our group of ten was very comfortable. We had everything we needed and would recommend to anyone interested in enjoying the beautiful biking in the area!

Its a great place to stay

We enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful, traditional and old, we were 2 adults and 2 children and we had plenty of space, an interior garden, and a beautiful bathroom with a bathtub in a large ceramic bowl where we loved to relax after the days of sightseeing, the children loved it! The street where the house is located is very quiet, made up of traditional houses, with excellent small restaurants and tea rooms. A beautiful temple a 1-minute walk away with a nice view of the old town of Takehara. A big thank you, we recommend it for a quiet and authentic break!

This room gives me a nostalgic feeling. If you are a big fan of Japanese anime and manga, you couldn’t reject this Showa vibe house. I went for the Shimanami Kaido Cycling route during the day. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime ride. During the night when I lay in my bed reviewing the photos of the ride and hearing the sound of JR train passing by, I felt like a manga character. And the cleanness of the room is just superb.

Small but very nice place to stay. Everything looks pretty new and is very clean. We felt absolutely comfortable. The distance to the train station is good.

There was parking in front of the house, and it was very convenient.The location was good, and you can walk to the tourist attractions in Onomichi.The room was clean and we had a pleasant time, and the check-in method was easy to understand, making it a very pleasant stay.I want to use it again when I come to Onomichi.

Our host was super responsive and helpful at all times. We had to make a last minute change to our booking and he was incredibly accommodating and kind. The place itself is the perfect spot for a stay in Onomichi. We were super close to the bike rental and starting point for the big cycle so it was super convenient. The host had clearly thought about what would help guests feel comfortable in his place, and we were grateful to have everything we needed. I’d highly recommend!

Great location, nice and quiet neighborhood. Walls seems substantial as I never heard any of the other rooms! Great cycling base.

Great place to stay in beautiful Onomichi, close to the train station, restaurants and waterfront. Close to a big supermarket and good bakery and the sea. The new building has three floors. We stayed on the ground floor which I recommend. The apartment is Newham, and has a big bathroom. The bed is comfortable. The place is big enough for two people staying, and well heated in December.

Great location to explore Onomichi on foot. Comfortable stay with cooking utensils (including rice cooker) and washing machine and inbuilt drying room. Makes washing clothes everyday very easy.
