A beautiful and thoughtfully reconstructed house. It has everything you could need to enjoy a very chill time at the house indoors and outdoors or even cook a meal in. Kid friendly.Beautiful light. Beautiful views. Very convenient location. Kind hosts. We have stayed at a few places around town but this was by far our favorite house.

We’ve stayed at Skip’s listings a few times, and it’s been wonderful each stay. Skip is helpful and quick to answer any questions. Andes is the most beautiful town. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a quiet family getaway while visiting family in the area - this was the perfect place. The surrounding area was gorgeous, surrounded by fall leaves with a nearby lake to take in. Robert was a generous and responsive host - would absolutely recommend!

This was not our first stay and it won’t be our last. Convenient and walking distance to town and campus, as well as per friendly, this location works out perfectly when attending our student’s games or other events on campus.

A quiet and private area. A neighbor on one side but never heard or seen anybody. Plenty of room for the dogs to run and hiking trails across the street. It is well stocked but does need some updating.

David’s place is an absolute dream. Like others have said, the pictures don’t do it justice. With the stream in the yard, fire pit, hammock, VHS collection, cozy living room, and lofted bedroom, you could easily spend a week here without going anywhere else. We booked last minute and David was extremly accommodating and quick to respond when we had questions, even going so far as to send me a hand drawn map to help us find our way to a local swimming hole. I’ll absolutely be back! My dogs were bummed to return back to our crammed NYC apartmenr after a dreamy weekend here :)

Very large and nice open space in the house. Family of 6 felt very comfortable and we could have had more join. Quick drive to windham to ski and spent evenings in front of fire playing cards. Kitchen has everything you need for nights in.

Michael's cabin in the Catksills was perfect for our recent ski trip over the long weekend! It was very cozy with the wood burning stove and had everything we needed (including a very well-stocked kitchen, which is always appreciated!). We loved the location, in that it felt remote and woodsy, but still close to fun towns such as Woodstock and the amazing Phoenicia Diner. Would definitely recommend!

Pristine clean, cozy, one bedroom condo unit located in Windham with seasonal access to tennis courts and a pool. Walking distance to the beautiful Windham Path. Slept better than at home in the comfy bed. Went for two days of midweek remote work. Agnieszka, the host, was gracious and responsive. The host obviously put some genuine TLC into this place and it shows. Browsed for books at Briars & Brambles, an indie bookstore in Windham adjacent to Windham Pharmacy. Purchased groceries and firewood down the road at Hickory Hill Market . Ate in area at Higher Grounds and Windham Diner. Living room has a fireplace with large screen TV just above. Beautiful home with amazing views. The house was very clean and spacious, the views were amazing. Susanna was very responsive and gave clear instructions. We had a very relaxing weekend and enjoyed very much staying at the house. We would love to come back.

Quiet, peaceful, so cozy. Perfect setting if you need to hibernate a bit.

My wife and I stayed at Ron’s place for five nights for a winter getaway. We had a great stay, highlights include a comfortable king bed, a quiet setting, a cozy fireplace, and the large ground floor bathroom that feels like your own spa- we thoroughly enjoyed the sauna, huge bathtub, and rain shower. Ron was a great host and was very responsive with any questions we had. We spent many hours watching TV on the screen and projector set up, we grabbed more pillows from upstairs to add some more cushion to the leather couch downstairs.

Came up with some extended family and a pup for a long weekend. House was bright and clean and we loved the surrounding property. Hot tub was great as the temps dipped while we were there. house had a lot of original charm with many modern touches.

We were expecting spring weather for some activities around the area but ended up with a big snow day. The dome offered enough that we didn’t feel stuck even though we spent most of our time on the property. The photos are attractive already but we are still wowed when seeing it real life. It was a great and unique experience. It feels like one can always find some way to enjoy the stay regardless of the weather!

Great spot for exploring with dogs! The neighborhood includes another house that I believe John shares with family and friends, so we weren’t entirely alone in the area—which I personally found reassuring. If you’re looking for complete seclusion, it’s a good idea to confirm this detail with John. Right behind his home, there’s a trail perfect for morning strolls, and the location is very accessible for road cycling, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It would also be a fantastic base for mountain or gravel biking adventures! John’s place was spotless, comfortable, and had a nice bathroom with plenty of hot water. Highly recommend!

Clean and updated home in a peaceful location convenient for skiing. Many household items useful for cooking in. Hot tub and basement with activities for kids are a nice addition.

We had a wonderful time at Nick’s Place. Great wood cabin with very warm heating during our stay where we had a snowstorm. Very cozy and wonderful view of the mountains.

I think this may be our 5th time to the house. Come up from the city for fishing and it’s beyond the perfect spot. It’s truly a perfect spot for access to water and hiking. Couldn’t ask for a better host!

Excellent layout nestled in the secluded mountains of Upstate New York. The space has warm and inviting amenities & modern idealistic lighting fixtures. The host was very helpful & gave us our space to fully enjoy the space provided. I definitely would recommend it to any looking for a secluded retreat, with breathtaking mountain views.

We were a 3 generations family staying in Oneonta for a baseball tournament. Melissa’s home was very comfortable, had indoor & outdoor spaces & suited our family perfectly. It was extremely clean, had everything we needed & centrally located for our games. She made sure we had everything we needed & was quick to respond. A really good experience!

Jason's home was lovely and accurately described & appointed - my friends and I spent a wonderful weekend with our pups and were even blessed by some snow! The fireplaces (yes - two!) were a great add-on and we were super excited to relax and enjoy all the home has to offer. Thanks so much again Jason! :)

Great place! Great location. Perfect secluded place right nearby to Hunter Mountain. Great spot for a family ski trip.
