This cabin was awesome. Great place to stay and hangout and make memories with friends and family, even had one of the guys catch a fish. Would definitely recommend this place

We had a great time. The bedrooms on 3 levels were excellent for giving our family privacy. The shared space was plentiful. There were 6 adults and 3 small kids. Fishing was fun from the dock!

The place was very clean! The bunk beds should be in the bigger bedroom. We came to quad so a hose would have helped. All in all we will definitely come back!

This was an amazing place to stay with family to celebrate a winter holiday weekend. Beautiful, private location that was a quick drive into Minocqua for groceries and anything else you may want. Huge living spaces to gather all together and it was amazing to have full bathrooms in each bedroom. Only slight negatives were one bed that was very sunken in the middle (but thankfully we had a younger adult staying with is whose back could handle it!) and some difficulties figuring out what each light switch did. Overall, it was an incredible place to stay in the winter, with great accommodations for 5 adults, and I can imagine it being an even more incredible place to stay in the summer months to enjoy the small private lake.

We had a wonderful time staying at Whispering Pines! The property is beautiful and we appreciated how private it felt. My sons enjoyed the games in the garage and I enjoyed the peaceful waterfront! Fishing off the pier was great, and we always enjoy boating on Lake Nokomis. We had several deer sightings, one with a couple of very young fawns, and also enjoyed the large goose family that stopped by most days. All in all a beautiful place that we most definitely want to visit again!

We loved our stay at Loon Landing! Plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 dogs. The property was beautiful and private, very well-kept. We loved having access to the paddle boat, canoe, and kayaks! The lake was perfect for swimming (for humans and dogs)! The host thought of EVERY accommodation you would ever need (and more). Shane was sure to check-in frequently and was readily available at all times. 10/10 would recommend this listing to others!

This little piece of heaven was way more than we expected. Walking in the door, it already felt like home. The updated decor and all amenities were top notch. A pool table to use along with a sauna for those evenings after a long hike or kayaking was so appreciated. From the linens, to the dishes to the towels, I can’t say enough about how much thought was put into meeting her guests needs. Way above and beyond. I loved the well put together coffee bar for those long relaxing mornings. The pier on the property to the quiet channel to the lake was so gorgeous. It was definitely hard to leave this place. We will surely be back and will spread the work about this piece of heaven!

Nicole was always friendly and responsive when communicating. She was generous with flexibility of check out time to accommodate my family’s needs. The house itself was gorgeous with a beautiful view of the lake (currently frozen lake). The house was easy to find. It had all the kitchen utilities we needed. I appreciate Nicole having a list of items that will not be at the house so I was able to plan accordingly. Highly recommend this place!

We came up to this cabin for a birthday getaway with our dog. We loved all the walking opportunities right outside the door. Bed was comfortable, cabin was clean and tidy, and we enjoyed our three days away in this beautiful spot.

Beautiful place and beautiful area! The house is comfortable with plenty of room. The area is beautiful and being able to snowmobile from the front door is just what we were looking for! We highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful week. We visited with Terry’s family, enjoyed the area, and liked the Friday fish fry at the Loop Hole. The ROKU tv was complicated it took some getting used to. The deer roaming in the back, the bunnies were bouncing, and the birds fun to watch

Second stay and even better than the first. New stove is awesome and the place is so comfy and exactly what those of us truly trying to get away want. Host is tremendous and responsive. We never stay at the same place twice….but we will be returning here for stay number three next year!

This cabin is so lovely. A CLASSIC up north cabin feel. If you are looking to be at a place that brings you back to being a kid, small, simple, filled with cozy nooks, surrounded with trees and a pond come here. I grew up going to the northwoods and we sold everything. Being able to stay at something that isn’t “new” and out of place felt good. It felt like I was a kid. They allow dogs with minimal restrictions and for me this was huge. So many places give you a huge charge for dogs and cleaning. Give you a long list of restrictions and I end up feeling so guilty the entire time. I have great dogs. They are great off leash and everyone is far enough away they could play and enjoy the woods. 10/10

Thank you so much for sharing your incredible home. It truly stands out as one of a kind, with so much amazing stuff to admire. The property is extremely well set up. We spent a lot of time playing hand golf, and the boys enjoyed whiffle ball in the large front yard and swimming. The lake front area is all sand. The kids loved it!!We couldn’t keep them out of the water. The fire pit is right off the water which made for some great sunset campfires. This place is perfect for two families. Between the cottage, the boathouse, and the main house there’s just so much room. The property is just simply fantastic, and I can’t help but feel jealous. Thanks again!

Robert has a very beautiful home that makes you feel at home when you stay there. Robert reached out a couple of times to make sure I had everything I needed,or if I had any problems or questions. We caught perch and bass off of his dock and had deer walking around in the yard. if you are looking for a beautiful peaceful place to stay in the Northwoods,and catch some fish and enjoy silence this is the right place for you. Lesya was responsive, proactive, and kind. The property is in a great location. We loved how close we were to the lake. The sauna is such a great amenity. We enjoyed lake swimming/sauna alternating on a cold, rainy day. The kayaks, row boat, and paddle boat were fun to have. The lake is quite private—we only wished there was a public access ramp for a boat, but the lack of it definitely makes the lake more quiet and peaceful. We ended up fishing with the provided row boat and caught quite a few fish. Nearby Eagle River was a great town to explore. Last Cast Bar & Grill is just a few minutes away, and we enjoyed their food, sand volleyball court, and bean bag toss games. We also found some great hiking trails nearby. Definitely recommend a stay!

They noted that we would need to bring towels. They provided towels, not a big deal, but the information should be updated.

The place was very clean and all the instructions on how to get in were clear. The hot tub was great and there was plenty of room. The kitchen was also stocked with pots and pans for cooking, and the wifi was surprisingly good.

A very spacious cabin with many great amenities. We loved that it’s dog friendly, has a hot tub, fire pit, putting green, and it’s right on the lake. It’s also conveniently located to Three Lakes & Eagle River. Many good restaurant options just 5-15 minutes away. Some of our favorites in Three Lakes: Mugs & Co. for coffee, the winery, Black Forest for dinner. Eagle River: Toad in the Hole for brunch, The Craftsman for lunch/dinner. We will be back! :)

Great place to stay with easy lake access! Greg was very responsive and accommodating!

This was our first trip to the Pickerill Lake Property. The house is enormous - we had to find a place last minute and this was all we could find for our family of 5 but it could easily accommodate 6-8 more - we plan to return with more family! House is fairly well equipped. Master room is warmer than other rooms. Patio furn great. Kayaks appreciated. Lake is beautiful- shallow with a lot of weeds. Beach is fairly sandy with weeds - not great for swimming but typical for this time of year in shallower lakes. Would definitely advise to bring or rent a motor boat to access deeper parts of the lake. Fishing ok from dock- amazing wild life views with herons, turkeys, eagles, hawks, loons - very peaceful. Great access by bike to St. Germain (3 miles), Eagle River and Sayner by paved trail, and Minocqua (10 miles) (great bike lane with moderate traffic pending time of day on Cty J). Sisters Saloon- great staff and worth the wait - fish fry on Friday out of control great.

Tony’s place was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway with the guys. We didn’t catch a ton of fish, but we had a blast—and having such a great space to come back to made all the difference. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time hanging out in the sauna, the hot tub, and around the bar. The place is full of cool little artifacts and knickknacks—lots to look at and talk about. Tony was a great host—very responsive and genuinely helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond a couple times. Would 100% come back!
