This rural getaway is situated between Opunake & Manaia on Surf highway 45. Older but cosy cottage with 3 bedrooms on our dairy farm. Clean with lovely linen & comfy beds. Good base - 30 mins to Mt Taranaki, 10 mins to Opunake. Close proximity to lots of surf breaks, Pihama lavender farm, Mt Taranaki and many other amazing adventures & scenery. This recently redecorated two bedroom apartment (sorry, not suitable for small children) is 3-4 minutes walk to the magnificent Pukekura Park, and 1-2 minutes walk to shops and takeaways. 1km to CBD and 1.5km to coastal walkway. Down a short right-of-way, with no road noise, this apartment would suit a couple or two individuals. You will love this location and the private section. No cleaning charge.

Great place to stay for us to all be together. So much room. The squash court is so useful, especially with little kids. Great to have three separate shower areas. So close to the beach. The walk around the lake is so close and not too big. Alot of Canadian Geese on the lake when we were there. We had awesome weather while we were there. Recommend it. We will be back 😊

Even through the owners lived upstairs they both were very accommodating and respectful hosts. I was very comfortable being there, as I never book apartments with the hosts on site. I did have anxiety about this, but the hosts left me and my family to our business. They work early hours of the morning and were very discrete when they came and went. I enjoyed my stay and I made do with the amenities they provided. The fridge was small, but we had a chilly bin with us, so it sufficed for our drinks. There is no oven, but a hot plate is also provided as well as a plug-in pan. This served us fine. I am very thankful to the hosts who also allowed me to use airbeds for an extra child that came with me as well. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. 5 of us stayed in the small cute two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment for a week and we loved it. Would highly recommend.

A perfect place to stay on our mother & daughter trip. It was safe and easy to get around for my mother in her 80s. The rooms and beds were cosy and clean. Alana really spoilt us with the most delicious slice on arrival including the recipe. We had breakfast goods supplied with our choice of milk, it was fabulous. Nick came down to help us with a couple of things we couldn’t start. I would highly recommend Alana & Nick as hosts, thanks heaps.
