Pool Home w/Dock; Canal access to Lake Okeechobee

Barbara’s place was the rest and reset needed for everyone. Fishing was great from the dock and a nice place to park the boat in the water. Everything was safe enough to leave the boat fully functional. The best place for me was the dock. It was peaceful with a nice breeze all day long. Perfect to read and do a little Bible study. The yard was fenced and the dogs loved being able to go from the yard to the dock to the pool without us having to worry. The pool was also fenced in and nice and cold. I do wish I had known the top was blown off so I could have brought an umbrella or two as my daughter has very light skin and got a little burned. She loves being out there though while the boys fished. The house is well- lived in and made us feel right at home and the beds were very comfy. If we stay in that area gain, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there.

Check in was easy and the home was very easy to find. The home was comfortable. The king bed in the main bedroom was pretty firm. The other beds were softer. The home had everything we needed. We did have a few concerns, which Allison addressed. Overall, it was a good stay and we would stay there again.

An outdoor covered seating area features a wooden pergola with overhead fans. Comfortable seating options include a swing, a sectional couch, and a dining table. Sunlight filters gently through slatted roofing, casting shadows on the concrete surface below.
