Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Okeechobee County

This was a beautiful and quiet location. Check in was a breeze. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the spacious design and cleanliness of the house and the waterfront location was exactly what we needed. The host was super helpful suggesting restaurant locations. I really can’t say enough about how wonderful this stay was and we can’t wait to go back. This was the relaxing getaway we were looking for.

We rented without much notice and he just had renters leave. He promptly contacted me to let me know he was heading there to clean and approved our request to rent. We arrived as Gary was wrapping up the cleaning which was probably about 2 hours later we were able to meet him for a short conversation before taking possesion for a few days. What a beautiful home. Everything we needed to make our meals. I loved that the homes living area was more masculine in the decor and not hunter masculine, I thought this was a unique touch that i haven't seen in many airbnb. The mixture of vintage and new decor throughout the home, kitchen area especially is exactly how have been invisioning my new kitchen once my new home is built. This place is perfect we absolutly loved staying there. This was a home that felt like home and not like a hotel but also not like the owners lived there and just left for a few days while we rented. I enjoyed the back deck and our dog loved fenced yard. Recommend 100%

Elizabeth was so kind and very accommodating! Her Airbnb is so beautiful and very relaxing! Nice huge fire pit out back, along with a dock you can fish off of. Many clean towels and toiletries. If you need to just get away for a quiet, relaxing time this is the place to go!

The place is great! Clean & nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The country setting was wonderful and a central location for our fishing trips.

Had an amazing time, Home was beautiful and has a very spacious dock. Florida room was worth spending every minute you could in. Will definitely book again !

This was very convenient stay for us. It's close to the lake launch. Plenty of good eats around to choose from as well. We would definitely use this location again when we return. I recommend :)

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The fishing dock was a huge success for the kids and we loved relaxing while watching the boats pass. We will certainly recommend this place to anyone and we’ll be back when the occasion comes along.

Barbara’s place was the rest and reset needed for everyone. Fishing was great from the dock and a nice place to park the boat in the water. Everything was safe enough to leave the boat fully functional. The best place for me was the dock. It was peaceful with a nice breeze all day long. Perfect to read and do a little Bible study. The yard was fenced and the dogs loved being able to go from the yard to the dock to the pool without us having to worry. The pool was also fenced in and nice and cold. I do wish I had known the top was blown off so I could have brought an umbrella or two as my daughter has very light skin and got a little burned. She loves being out there though while the boys fished. The house is well- lived in and made us feel right at home and the beds were very comfy. If we stay in that area gain, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there.

Doug's place is clean, comfortable, and near everything there is in Okeechobee. He is also very helpful and responsive if there is anything you need.

Had a lot of fun staying at the cabin. You can have a fishing line in the water in 30 seconds from walking out the front door. We did smores at the camp fire, took an airboat tour, and explored some local fishing spots. There is a dollar general a minute away that is more like a grocery store than a dollar store, so it makes it convenient to go pick up anything you may have forgot. Will definitely visit again.

This was the second time staying at one of these cabins. It’s very convenient, close to things, and cozy! The neighborhood is small and quiet and the people are friendly:) There was a musty smell in the cabin along with dust and hair in the bathroom/shower. In addition, the shower drain clogged to the point we just went over to the dollar general to get drain-o. These things wouldn’t keep us from staying there again though.

They were very responsive and made sure to make us feel at home. It was so peaceful and the animals are so loving!

Omg the managers were absolutely Phenomenal..very warm and friendly..they were always there for us..beautiful couple inside and out..we had a magnificent time..Lake Okeechobee is absolutely gorgeous..the cabin was absolutely adorable..very clean..had everything you ever needed..gorgeous view of the water..we even brought our doggies they had a ball..cant wait to go again..this is way better than the Okeechobee KOA we've been members there for 20 years..now we have a more beautiful home here..we will be back soon..such a pleasure to stay with you all..ty again for your beautiful and kind hospitality..if I could would give you both a ten star...may God bless you both..we miss you guys already..see you again soon..stay as beautiful as you both are..and tell our friend in Portugal we loved his place..see you soon our new friends. always..Brenda and Carlos Romano-Ferro

Location was close to the Sporing event I was attending. Super clean. Easy to get to. Neighbors were friendly and quiet. Host was helpful with any ?’s I had. Beautiful sunset. Would definitely come back. This time of the year Mosquitoes are pretty bad at night. Definitely bring spray.

very peaceful setting, sweet neighbors, convenient to a Dollar General should you forget something versus having to drive back into town, extremely clean, very responsive homeowners. Can't wait to come back.

My fiancé and I rented the glamping tent for our anniversary! We fell in love with the scenery, the VJEW of the stars! and our neighbours were so nice! Had we had more time there, I’m sure we would have become friends! The hammocks were incredibly comfy and we thoroughly enjoyed the visits from the local wildlife at the park! We’ll definitely be back :)

My partner and I stayed for our first anniversary, which coincided with the planet parade. Kissimmee Prairie state park is an amazing dark site for stargazing. We brought our own telescope, but the host did have one available for rent as well. The tent was super comfortable. The beds and air conditioning made it feel more like a hotel room than a tent. Both of us have minimal experience camping and have a large need for accommodations due to health reasons, so this glamping tent made it a lot easier for us to enjoy our hobbies comfortably. It is wonderful to come back to a cold tent after a hike. We ended up cooking rather late, so we had dinner guests, opossum and raccoons of course. We kindly asked them to leave, and they excused themselves. The crows that live nearby however, will definitely attempt to sneak some of your lunch. The bathrooms are a minute walk away, and well maintained. Richard and Joy were quick to respond. We will definitely be back for a longer stay
