It is not known which year the house was built but its antique oak beams throughout the building date from at least early 1600's. Tall ceilings offer a spacious and airy yet very cosy space across three floors. The courtyard has a lunch/dining area as well as a lounge area under roof by the open fire place - you have private access to this tranquil and magical space. Walking or cycling trails (St Gobain forest 2mn). 20 min Soissons (N2) or Laon and historic sites (Coucy Le Chateau, Chemin des Dames, Dragon Cave, Gothic Cathedral). Train Station at 6 minutes (Paris at 1h20). 15 min Center Park. 55 minutes from Reims, capital of Champagne.

We offer accommodation for 6 people with 3 bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, in a "chic country" style (3-star furnished tourist accommodation), SPA with JACUZZI and SAUNA on the ground floor of the accommodation overlooking the private courtyard. The gîte was set up in the miller's house, located next to the old mill in Puiseux-en-Retz, where we live.
