The host's daughter provided a lot of information about transportation. It's not expensive to take a taxi from Lihuaxi. The house is a great old house, and the courtyard is well maintained. The host grandfather is very kind. It's a great experience.It's for those who want to take a good rest at night. There are few buses, so you can slow down and enjoy the feeling.

Very pleasantly surprised. We were worried about no air conditioning but it was very comfortable and cool and the room was spacious and nice. The natural setting was so relaxing and the onsen bath was really nice too. Good value.

The stay was so cute and pretty! Definitely a once in a lifetime experience to sleep in such a cute second hand book store. The rooms were also furnished to fit the rest of the accomodation. The shop has so many little thrift finds that you can take home as cute souvenirs and it is a great place to stay if you do part of the Michinoku Coastal trail. It's a bit off trail, but you can just walk the extra miles! We had a lovely weekend!

This was such a wonderful find on Airbnb. Yoshinobu san helped explain all the details and arranged the details. It is a ryokan in the hills above the town of Rikuzentakata. From the moment you arrive the staff will make you feel right at home. The rooms are clean and big with beautiful views of the surrounding greenery. We had western style rooms. We stayed for two nights and had four amazing meals. Make sure to reserve the special breakfast and dinner sets at least once: Traditional Japanese dishes with very fresh ingredients. After dinner each night we loved going to the onsen and having a soak. It’s open until 10 pm. There’s also a relaxing lounge which is also home to two well behaved cats Momiji and Sakura! You can get there by Shinkansen to Ichinoseki station. You can continue by train/bus and get picked up but we rented a car from Times at Ichinoseki Station (recommended). There are many things to see : Hiraizumi, Michinoku Coastal Trail, Iwate Tsunami Memorial Museum.

I visited with my relatives. The wood stove was very warm, and I had a comfortable stay until morning with the afterglow of the stove at night. Also, I was worried about my dog staying in a place other than home for the first time, but I was relieved that he got used to it and relaxed in a few hours. I want to disturb you again.Thank you very much.
