Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Odenwaldkreis

This is an adorable cottage managed by lovely people. Thanks to Stephen, his partner, and his mother for their gracious hospitality! I am very grateful. This is a historic half-timber home with wood floors and stairs, high upstairs ceilings, and an updated interior. We found the bedding comfortable with bedroom blinds adjustable for sleep promotion, kitchen and bathrooms clean and stocked, patio delightful with sun and bird songs, and overall decor attractive and soothing. The air temperature is adjustable in the bedrooms and living room with both cooling and heating options. The coffee maker is a Nespresso type, and we appreciated the basketful of coffee pods and bottle of wine upon entry! This home is in a peaceful and safe location behind a locked gate with both the owner and the owner's mother to each side. The S-Bahn stop is a short walk away and will take you to central Frankfurt including Romer (download the RMVgo app to buy and load train tickets).

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting with all the amenities! We had a lovely and relaxing stay at Oliver and Sabrina’s place. The cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed, the beds were super comfortable, and the surrounding countryside was perfect for daily walks. Oliver and Sabrina were very responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

The house is super located in quiet forest surroundings. Hiking trails start right outside the door. The house is well furnished, everything is clean. Especially great is the fireplace, which creates a cozy atmosphere. You can wonderfully switch off and relax here. A trip to the local distillery as well as to Miltenberg is very worthwhile!

The cottage is in a beautiful location surrounded by nature, at the end of a sparsely populated road that leads up into the forest. There are very nice paths and views of our valley, it is very quiet and just very calming to look out the window and only see nature. Inside it is very cozily furnished and everything we needed was already there, even the basics for washing and cooking. The shower is so great and the beds very cozy, I slept incredibly peacefully there. Dominique was responsive to all questions and always very friendly and accommodating. The underfloor heating was the candy and the landscape balm for the soul. I think we'll be back, it was just a fantastic getaway, with everything our heart desired.

Decorated with love and very clean. The kitchen has everything you need and also extra touches such as candles, games, Bluetooth box, etc. The fireplace was already prepared and we also enjoyed it very much. Ideal place to slow down for a few days:))

Katja both made very good suggestions for us and supported us to chech out comfortably by providing us with flexibility during and even after our stay. Thanks to her elegant fresh flowers and treats in the refrigerator she left for us, it was a meal for us even though we arrived very late on our first day. The cleanliness, location, silence, amenities were complete and good enough to be comfortable even if staying for a long time. I will definitely stay here again without hesitation. It was a great experience and pleasure for us.

It was a wonderful stay again, including children and dogs. Excellent facilities and a very loving and friendly host invite you to feel good.

Dagmar’s apartment was a perfect place for us to retreat and spend time together. The garden was an unexpected surprise for its size and peaceful nature. We enjoyed our evenings sitting under the beautiful trees. The apartment is well located for local wineries and we did a wonderful day trip into Heidelberg to explore. Only 40 minutes from Frankfurt. The apartment is well equipped and very clean and comfortable. Dagmar was an attentive host with great recommendations locally. Thank you for a wonderful stay ☺️

Nice place to escape the city and relax in the nearby woods and hills. The apartment is very neat and clean and Angelika is easily accessible for questions and tips for the area.

The apartment is very cozily furnished and is very quiet. From the terrace you have a magnificent view over the Main Valley. I rented the apartment during a seminar and the location was very central. Tea and coffee were sufficiently available, as well as firewood for the fireplace. Highly recommended!

The apartment is very tasteful, beautiful and perfectly furnished. We were very well received by Peter and felt at home. When we are back in the area we will be happy to stay there.

A fantastic Airbnb. Very quiet location with beautiful views. Popcorn and chips were also free for a great movie night. The apartment is much nicer than the pictures. Even a small Rituals set was available free of charge for booking. If you want to make your partner happy, you should definitely stay here! Overall a perfect stay! 🙏

The place is special, highly recommended, away from the standard mash of most hotels and homes. We also found ourselves well with two children and stayed there. The landlady and her family were always and easily accessible and very helpful with all major and minor matters. Highly recommended!

We felt very comfortable in the "villa". It's not super easy to find and the description should be optimized a little. The villagers: But inside, they already know and Maxi also welcomed us super nicely. We would have had an infinite amount of conversation with permaculture and self-sufficient living! The cottage is quaint and cozy, well equipped and the view of the beautiful Jagst Valley is simply fantastic. A highlight is definitely the pizza oven, as well as the swimming spot about a 20-minute walk on the Jagst, which we both used and enjoyed despite (or because of) autumnal temperatures. S-a-g-e-n-h-a-f-t! Without exaggeration, I never expected anything so beautiful. How brand new, everything fits together. No clipped crockery and pots as usual. No, everything very nice, new and from bathroom to kitchen in the same matching style. And everything was as clean as if it were new. The landlords very nice, accommodating, not a bit intrusive, helpful. You can tell they're having fun. I know this all sounds too good. But check it out for yourself. And amazed I'm not exaggerating. 5 star apartment? Modesty expressed. 10 star luxury apartment. We loved it 🤩
