Located on a hill with a good view, you can overlook the scenery of Nara from the veranda and the second floor windows. We created a clean and comfortable space with the image of a home where you can stay as if it were your own. There are 4 rooms, each with 2 single beds. 15 minutes by cable car from Torii-mae Station, a 10-minute walk, to Ikoma Mountain Amusement Park, the night view of Osaka from the top of the mountain is so good that it was certified by the "COOL JAPAN AWARD 2019". In addition, the approach to Horyu-ji Temple, which starts right next to the house, has restaurants with good views, so you can enjoy the old-fashioned atmosphere. The early morning walk is very refreshing. Ikoma Station is a 10-minute walk and is a convenient station with 4 lines. There are hills and stairs from Ikoma station, so if you have large luggage, I recommend taking a taxi from the station (about 700 yen) 10-minute walk to supermarket, department store, and restaurants. Nostalgic Beach House A private guesthouse in Nigishima, Kumano City, facing the calm Nigishima Bay. To reach it, climb about 50 steps (5 min) for a rewarding view. *Note: not suitable for those with limited mobility. There is no TV or clock—disconnect and relax. *Extra fee applies for 2+ guests. For safety, a motion-sensor camera is at the entrance; it only takes still photos when someone passes, never continuous video, ensuring privacy.

"Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)

Mikiura Guesthouse

Reservation start from 2 person / 2 nights minimum. We accept only one group at a time so you will have exclusive use of the entire property. Guesthouse is a typical old Japanese house, not like a resort Hotel or Ryokan for business. We have no meal service. Mikiura village is surrounded by the clear blue sea and natural green mountains. You'll enjoy real Japan such as rural life experience, quiet time and beautiful nature.

The river is just a few minutes walk from the house which is the best place for chilling out, swimming with your family or family and enjoying water. 20 mins' drive from JR "Misedani" station and 60 mins' drive to the Osugidani Valley (one of the three greatest valleys in Japan).
