Located in the town next to Narai-juku, Nakasendo's post town, a historic town that has flourished as a region for lacquerware from the Edo period. It was selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, and was built in 1931 in this town, where lacquerware shops are still lined up. Limited to one group per day without meals, you can use the entire house. I think the charm of Hirasawa is the unforgettable beauty and abundance. It would be nice if you could stay like living in this old town, such as reading, walking, local sake (sake, wine), and sleeping slowly. "Kura" a Japanese historical warehouse where you can stay is in the Makiroku Noen, an orchard that has been in Obuse, Ngano for 10 generations. We renovated a historic warehouse and transformed into a small cozy place with a Japanese style bathtub on the first floor, and two queen-size beds on the second floor. Inside the historic building, you can have a relaxing time with the bath, reading a book in peaceful and quiet atmosphere, or watch a movie on the projector.
