BALTHASAR Resort Guesthouse on the Rebhang in the Rheingau

The "Balthasar Ress Guesthouse" is the guest house of the renowned Balthasar Ress winery in the Rheingau. Primarily designed for the winery's own guests, it is also sometimes available to other guests. The architect's house is located in the "Rebhang" settlement, one of the most exclusive and beautiful residential areas in the Rheingau wine-growing region. The settlement is located at an altitude of around 400 m, around 300 m above the Rhine and is surrounded by meadows, vineyards and the forest.

Our approximately 200 sqm accommodation is the perfect starting point for all your activities in the romantic Middle Rhine Valley. Centrally located, you can reach the historic town center, the Rhine River, Stahleck Castle, and the Werner Chapel within minutes. Hiking trails lead through the vineyards and throughout the entire valley. The surrounding area can also be easily explored by boat and train. On the terrace, you can end your day with a glass of wine in the shade of the castle.

A unique tranquil living space of 132sqm can comfortably accomodate 2-7 persons. Luxurious furnishings include queen size beds, leather couches, bright pool room and an inviting bar. Large glass doors open up onto wooden terraces and a koi pond. An adjacent grill under a vine-covered pergola overlooks a large (1400sqm) well-kept garden. It has a private entrance with ample parking. We welcome all races and religions. The property is easily accessible from the A3 Frankfurt - Cologne.

Charming half-timbered dream in Stromberg's old town

Treat yourself to a visit to our half-timbered house Anno 1690, renovated in 2019, in the very quiet old town of Stromberg, right by the Schlossbrunnen fountain below the 3 castles. The kitchen on the 2nd floor is excitingly located in the former battlement of the city wall. The medieval building still has the typical steep oak stairs and the ceiling height is outside the norm. Cozy stay in the house and as a starting point for hikers & bikers....for relaxation and adventure...

Experience the medieval Schifferhaus on the quiet market square of Kaub- a Enjoy a journey back in time! Historic charm and modern en-suite bathrooms in each double room combine past and comfort. The apartment is designed for two to four guests. Beneath the shade of the old linden trees, you can relax after a hike along the Rheinsteig and enjoy the excellent local wines. The apartment is also ideally located for attending a concert at the Loreley open-air theatre.

Rhine Lodge

A visit to our apartment often follows this scheme: Our guests enter the terrace and are banned from the view. With wide eyes, they let the hustle and bustle on the Rhine that flows below them. Pure relaxation. The fantastic view of the Rhine Valley and the "7 Virgins" makes this apartment for 2-8 people particularly appealing. It has 1 bedroom (double bed) on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms (1 double bed, 4 single beds) on the lower level.

A vacation in beautiful nature in the heart of the Rheingau near the Schloß Vollrads and Schloss Johannisberg wineries in Stephanshausen. Please feel at home in my detached house with garden! Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.

Modern design meets history. The listed house stands, surrounded by vineyards, in the Steeg district directly below Stahleck Castle. This unique place has a style all its own: ecological materials such as clay and wood give the house a unique flair and an unsurpassed indoor climate. The half-timbered house, built in 1622, is modernly furnished. A wood and pellet stove creates a special evening feel-good atmosphere.

Our beautiful, almost 250-year-old house offers you everything you need to relax in the middle of nature or spend time with family and friends. The large garden invites you to linger in good weather and thanks to the wood-burning stove and sauna you can also make yourself comfortable on rainy days. The house is surrounded by the fields and forests of the Hunsrück, the Moselle can be reached in a few minutes by car.
