Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Your vacation starts right away in the new, stylishly and comfortably furnished apartment. Located in a quiet residential area directly on the Rothaarsteig, you can start hiking and cycling tours right away. The apartment has one bedroom, a guest room for 2 additional guests, a large bathroom with a tub, a guest toilet with a shower, a living/dining room (with a wood-burning stove) and a southwest-facing balcony. Beautiful bright apartment in rural idyll. If you are looking for a place to recharge your batteries, like hiking or cycling, this is the place for you. It is also an ideal location for motorcyclists. In the village, there is a bakery and a butcher to stock up for breakfast. The nearest town of Rennerod is about 10 minutes by car. There are also numerous discount stores and supermarkets available. In the spa town of Bad Marienberg, 6.4 km away, you can swim or take a sauna in bad weather.

We are renting out the main part of a freshly renovated former school building. The house is ideal for relaxing, making music or for groups who have to work in the area of Weilburg. You can get to Frankfurt fair by car in about an hour. The house sports several bathrooms, toilets, a complete kitchen, Sat-TV, WLAN, a fireplace, a big conference room and 3 sleeping rooms for up to 8 people. The surrounding is very quiet. Air condition in two rooms. No smoking inside the house.

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.
