TABITABI KANOE MITSU

Tabitabi Kanoe Mitsu is a fully renovated, over 100-year-old Kyomachi house, located right next to Rokubo-Ritsu-Ji Temple, and is limited to one group per day. Looking from the entrance, you can see the garden spreading beyond the Yukimi Shoji sliding screen. It features a large palm tree. When you open the window from the living room, the semi-open-air bath directly connected to the garden invites guests to the best healing experience regardless of the season. The bathtub is made of Shigaraki-yaki, produced in a kiln in Shiga Prefecture. The far infrared effect warms the body to the core and makes it difficult for the bath to cool down. Why not relax from the daily grind while enjoying a drink and taking in the beautiful Japanese garden? The Japanese-style room on the second floor features a shoji screen with a Mondrian-style design. The bedroom headboard is designed to resemble the Tateyama mountain range. This land with its old-fashioned townscape and famous water is hot in summer and cold in winter. But that's why the rice, vegetables, and meat are also delicious. To ensure you enjoy the stay to the fullest, I set check-in and check-out time to both 12:00 Noon. So you can stay up for 24 hours with one night booking. YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.

Kyoto no Oyado Yorisuke is a 5-minute walk from Keihan Kiyomizu-gojo Station, and is a private rental house.

Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs.
