James was such a kind and responsive host. The house felt so cozy and welcoming. They even provide fluffy robes and super comfy sandals, which was such a nice touch. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook, and there were extra blankets too. I really enjoyed reading a book in the living room by the river, the peaceful nature around is just breathtaking. This place truly helped me slow down and feel recharged. Even though it was a short stay, I absolutely loved it. Everything was clean and welcoming. I wish I had more time to enjoy it all, especially the hot tub! Looking forward to coming back soon.

We had such a great time with ample space to relax and/or to play family activities! Scenic location! Also a great location to get to and from other destinations! ie Legoland, American Dream Mall etc. !!

Great Communication from staff. Gave great recommendation and the house was very cozy and clean. Many things to do nearby and I would recommend this for a party up to 10. I would definitely recommend this to friends and come back in the future for another hike!!!

Pictures do not do this place justice, comfortable beds and couch’s, clean kitchen and bathrooms, way more space than it appeared in the pictures. Hot tub was amazing on a few cold nights. We spent most of our time in the living room by the fire and making food in the kitchen. Marie’s home was more than we could have wished for, and the location was perfect, in nature but just a few mins away from town. By far the most comforting and relaxing stay we’ve had yet.

Alex is a great host and the space is as described. Very cozy and private. Maybe a little spooky showing up at night the first time, but it’s absolutely beautiful during the day. I can’t think of anything that would’ve made my stay better. It was exactly what we needed and were looking for. Alex also saved me by catching that I dropped my wallet and calling me. I am very thankful.

I’ve stayed at many Airbnb’s over the years. Not all reserved by myself. However, this is definitely in the top of the cleanest ones I’ve stayed at. That’s really important to me. I know things get missed sometimes, but I don’t want to see a strand of hair in the fridge I’m putting my food in or in the shower I’m washing my body in. Sometimes it’s inevitable and easily missed. But just a little more attention to detail eliminates that slight miss. Speaking of attention to detail, Lisa truly made me feel special when I walked in the door to a personalized note on the kitchen counter w/coffee and a snack. That type of attention to detail goes a long way with me. Just a simple thoughtful gesture. It’s the little things that are important! Also during our stay, Lisa remained in communication with me with any questions I had. It was an awesome stay with some preteens and a toddler. The teens enjoyed the game room while the toddler enjoyed the mini kitchen perfect for her size. Thank you!!

We had a great long weekend and really enjoyed ourselves at Kate's cottage! The house was great and all of the amenities were really fun (highly recommend the sauna). It's easy to see how much they love the house and put a lot of care (and great decorating sense!) into every space. It's beautiful and a great place to spend time.

Wonderful, peaceful getaway for our extended family to be able to spend quality time after the holidays. The wood-burning stove is super cool- the glass door allows you to watch the beautiful flames and it gives off great heat to the large floor to ceiling great room. We also loved the separate wood-burning sauna structure— especially the large window from which you could look out over the woods and stream below as snowflakes quietly fell- it felt like we were in Sweden! New, beautifully appointed bathrooms, and well-stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed all of the hiking trails on the property (as did our pup!), and the hot tub was a nice feature to further enjoy the view of the mountains. The original house is older so be prepared for some quirks (very squeaky wood floors and doors), but it has been restored/updated beautifully while still keeping a cozy, rustic-chic charm. Laura & Ryan were the ideal hosts- provided lots of useful info and were very responsive. A fantastic retreat!

I booked this property as a kind of ad hoc writing retreat. It was the perfect location to complete what work I needed to do. A quick drive into Sparta for restaurants and supplies also made this a great location.

Great deal .. amazing place

William’s cabin is like something out of a movie. The cabin itself is beautiful, made with exceptional craftsmanship. The floors are all hardwood, but our dogs had no problems with it (they usually won’t walk on wood floors). The location is so peaceful, I’d never guess how close we were to shops - but William left a binder with minimal, easy house instructions and lists of all sorts of local attractions - farms, wineries, restaurants, and so on. Everything appliwas as described and worked perfectly. The grounds are almost park-like, but there’s no doubt you’re in nature. We heard barred owls near the cabin at night, and down by the river by day are kingfishers, herons, pileated woodpeckers, and all the usual smaller birds. Obviously, bring bug spray, as with everywhere that’s more rural. There are hiking trials nearby, & the cabin is easy walking distance to the Appalachian trail - if you take it heading west, you’ll get gorgeous views. Overall, 10/10 can’t wait to come back

beautiful little place in the middle of a quiet neighborhood, just a few minutes from Greenwood Lake and Warwick. Julie was super responsive and very helpful! One thing to note - though the listing says up to seven people, it would definitely be a squeeze. me and my boyfriend stayed there with a friend and that was the perfect amount of people.

Nidhi’s place was gorgeous and comfortable. We felt right at home and enjoyed our stay. Nidhi was very responsive and accommodating. Definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

The place was as advertised... quicky and cozy!!!!! check in was super easy and deb was a great host. Despite my forgetfulness about us having two dogs she was understanding and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

We are grateful for the time visiting this magical place. The grounds are unbelievably gorgeous, as if out of a story or a painting, with different spaces to walk, sit, read or play catch. The pool is warm and lovely with an adjacent shared pool house space offering a shaded sitting area, a restroom and sauna. Hibiscus House is spacious, comfortable, incredibly well appointed and featured decor and small touches that belong in a design magazine. Every detail or potential guest need was considered and covered with the planning for this home. Lisa was communicative and responsive leading up to our arrival. She met us and provided a great tour when we arrived and checked in while we were there. She went above and beyond as a host and we are so appreciative.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was really beautiful and large! Close proximity to some great sights, and it was very very clean! Rhona was very helpful and responsive and told us we could check in at any time, which made traveling much less stressful! The only thing was that the shower caused a leak above the dining table - it didn’t bother us, Rhona said that it sometimes happens if the shower deism so clogged. Also, good to be aware that you can hear everything through the walls - which was actually helpful for us because we could hear the baby that slept in the room right above us. Didn’t even need the monitor. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come again!

We had a great stay at this cabin! The location was on a dead end street which made it very quiet, serene, and private. The lake was visible from the back porch of the house & a very close walk away. The house comes with access to a semi-private beach/dock area which is the perfect place to spend the day in the summer. The house was decorated beautifully while being extremely comfortable at the same time. Our host, Kamil, was very responsive. If I had a question or concern he was extremely helpful within a short period of time. All around, really enjoyed this stay & would definitely return when in this area again!

A small and comfortable place to get away from everything, my girlfriend and I loved it every little detail inside and out of the cabin. The small river that passes through gave it a magical and relaxing touch in the woods. The communication with the owner was good and the instructions that he gave us made our stayed easy enjoyable. 😊

A spacious house with fun games and great TVs. We really enjoyed the King bed and the bathroom was wonderful including the shower. The host was also kind enough to give me a late checkout with no fee which I really appreciated. Warwick is a great town to explore and this is a great place to stay in to do it!

Beautiful place, such a nice cozy place to stay. Would love to come back It was a wonderful anniversary weekend for us. The frozen lake was so neat. Locals were ice fishing and riding motorcycles around which was fun to watch.

Highly recommend a stay at this beautiful cabin. It was pristinely clean and smelled amazing, like new wood. The decor is very tasteful with a cozy ambiance. The kitchen is equipped for cooking and the wood burning fireplace keeps the whole space toasty. You can hear the nearby brook with the windows open. The soaking tub is incredible. We truly enjoyed our stay! It’s an easy drive of 1 hr from NYC, and 10 min to the nearest town for restaurants, groceries etc.

This cabin was very cozy and the surrounding area was very scenic and pretty, as well as quiet and peaceful. Kerri allowed my group of friends to shoot our short film outside the house, and it was a great location for filming as well as a great place for some of the crew members to stay overnight and hangout after shoot. We didn't have much free time but we were provided with lots of recommendations of places to checkout nearby and I'd love to maybe rent the place again sometime to explore the scenery. The neighbors were friendly and Kerri gave us very clear and useful information about the house to make our stay easy.

This was one of the nicest AirBnBs I've experienced. Joe was totally responsive. The space was delightfully charming. It felt like a Vermont ski chalet or a remote hunting cabin in the woods of Minnesota. The wood finish was very well crafted with a vaunted ceiling and beautiful hard wood floors. It included an excellent private bathroom. The space was roomy with a spotless kitchen, dining area, television watching space and a very comfortable bed. It was very near the highway and train for anyone looking for an easy commute to New York City. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at the Forest Nook in Wurtsboro, NY! She’s by far the most hospitable host we’ve ever encountered! She made us feel like family from the moment we arrived & even baked us a fresh blueberry loaf which was a perfect treat after a long flight! Throughout our stay, she went above and beyond her duties as a host. It honestly felt like we had known her for years. Her cabin is breathtaking, with a million-dollar lake view that we will never forget. From sunrise to sunset, you won't find a more peaceful, quiet, or beautiful spot. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to get away from a big city & want a peaceful, relaxing stay. Everything you need is just a short 15-minute drive away in Middletown, and the drive is an experience in itself, winding through a gorgeous green landscape, as if you're cruising through a lush green forest. Vanessa made our stay incredibly comfortable & unforgettable! We will definitely be returning!
