A few friends and I wanted to get away for the weekend, and Harri’s spot in Savonranta looked amazing. Remote, quite, and full of amenities, this place was a bang for my buck. Remember to bring your bedsheets if you book this place. Only small negative is that this place is nearby Savonranta and not Savonlinna, so if you’re trying to check that city out, keep in mind that the cottage is over 50 km away. Other than that, would highly recommend this stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jaana’s cottage. There was plenty of room for everyone and outdoor amenities were great. Unfortunately the dock was not in the water as shown in the photos, but it was easy to get in and out of the water regardless. Jaana also had frisbee golf, darts, 2 fishing poles, and a paddle board rental that we used. A beautiful and quiet place with miles of lake surrounding the cottage!

Sari's home was really suitable for our party. There was plenty of room. The kids were wonderfully cared for.

Pure relaxation, quiet place, but also suitable for remote work. Host Jari and his wife are super friendly and nice and make an effort to make sure you have a nice holiday. Everything you need is available in the accommodation, good shopping is available within a radius of about 10 km. The lake invites you to swim and the sunsets are breathtaking. We had a really lovely stay here at Villa Karhu in the winter. We were a group of 6 friends and the house offered more than enough space for all of us. The location is absolutely amazing, with the surrounding nature being really peaceful and quiet. You have absolut privacy and won't disturb others or be disturbed by anyone, yet it is still easy to reach. Can recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a few relaxing days enjoying the beautiful nature!

We really loved our stay at Mikko's place. The location is fantastic, with a pier and a beach leading to the lake. The cottage faces south, so it gets a lot of sunlight during the day which is great. The cottage was very well equipped with two kitchens to chose from, a rowing boat, a grill, a garden swing and many more items. Very clean water from a well. The equipment and wifi worked perfectly. The wood-fired sauna is also well located next to the lake with a separate cloak room. Mikko's lovely "mökkimummo" greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the grounds. Only small concern was that we did not know before that the grounds are shared with another cottage about 40m away. However, the neighbour seemed to only be there for some of the time and kept to himself, so we still felt like we had our privacy. Groceries in Lieksa were about a 20 minutes drive by car. Overall a great and authentic way to experience Finnish nature and lifestyle!
