SUNzibar Home - Pear

This Airbnb was super safe! It was behind a locked gate and the apartment itself was clean and beautiful. You are about two streets off the main road which has lots of market stalls and some really tasty restaurants (kings and Hanoi house are amazing!!! JF Killicoffee has the best coffee!!!). It is about a 10-15 minute walk to Nungwi beach area. It’s not a bad walk, just hot if you try to go mid-day. Saidi is the property manager and he’s incredibly helpful!!! He can help get a taxi, rent a scooter, and offer some good recommendations. He’s very kind and a welcome face for this solo traveler! I found the area to be safe. I walked alone at night frequently from dinner and did not feel like I was at risk of harm. This is located near local people so you get a better sense of the island than you would in a resort area.
The exterior of the building features a modern design with large windows and a spacious balcony. Lush green plants line the base, while a decorative wooden door adds character. A clear blue sky provides a bright backdrop, enhancing the inviting atmosphere.

Kameleon villa’s - Bungalow 1

ThomasRating, 5 stars3 months ago
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms. David was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was comfortable and enjoyable, especially since we were traveling with a small baby. The space was not only beautiful but also perfectly suited for families. It was clean, well-maintained, and had all the essentials we needed. The location was fantastic, providing easy access to local attractions while still being a peaceful retreat. Additionally, David provided excellent recommendations for activities and dining, which made our trip even more special. His kindness and genuine care made us feel right at home. If you're looking for a memorable stay in Zanzibar with a host who truly cares, look no further! We can't wait to come back!

Villa Pepo

The villa more or less meets the description, needs some renovation. Close to the beach and kids loved the pool. The surrounding is not so nice because of construction all around. Very nice communication from Eliasa, thank you very much!
A shaded outdoor seating area features a rustic wooden bench with a small table. Beyond, an infinity pool reflects the ocean and landscape, framed by lush greenery and stone steps. The sky is bright, adding to the scenic view of the sea.

Great place to stay in Northern Zanzibar. My family of four had plenty of space in the house and we really enjoyed the pool and the beautiful sunsets. I recommend!

CONFORT House

DarrenRating, 5 stars34 months ago
This little pad was perfect. Quiet, secure and basically in the heart of Nungwi beach. Beach and restaurants were a 2 minute walk. Supermarkets a 1 minute walk. The accommodation has two amazing bedrooms each with ceiling fan and AC. Hot showers. Also you get an amazing breakfast with the stay. Fresh mangoes, pineapples and Avacado. Eggs on toast and an endless supply of coffee. Maurizio being the Italian host lent me his perculator and Lavazza coffee from the old country. Any minor issues Maurizio and Priska attended to asap and were an absolute pleasure. We stayed for three weeks and did not want to leave. Thanks again Maurizio and Priska
A serene sleeping area is highlighted by a wooden bed with elegant linens. The space features a ceiling fan, natural wooden beams, and soft lighting from two hanging lamps. A small round table sits beside a stylish coffee table, leading to a kitchenette area with modern amenities.

Udu’s Apartments 1 - 3 minutes walk to the beach

MarinaRating, 5 stars64 months ago
Small cozy house, comfortable bed, clean enough. Very hospitable and friendly host, sincerely ready to help for any issue. Nice location, near a wonderful beach. But, most importantly, do not expect European living conditions and you will not be disappointed.
A wooden canopy bed is positioned centrally in a well-lit room. The bed features a neatly arranged blanket with contrasting colors at the foot. Natural light filters in through small, open windows, highlighting the room's simple design and earthy tones.

An excellent stay! We were super well received, the staff was super nice, they took care of us all along. They introduced us to the surrounding area. That was really awesome! If I had to do it again, I'd do it again! Only negative point: sad to leave.
