Dorine’s home was luxurious bliss. A retreat filled with the happiness it’s named- “Furaha “. With exceptional service, cleanliness, convenience, and excellent location, the beautiful cosy home made my dream holiday come true. Dorine is an exceptional host, generous to the core. Thank you.

Great place to stay in Northern Zanzibar. My family of four had plenty of space in the house and we really enjoyed the pool and the beautiful sunsets. I recommend!

An excellent stay! We were super well received, the staff was super nice, they took care of us all along. They introduced us to the surrounding area. That was really awesome! If I had to do it again, I'd do it again! Only negative point: sad to leave.

Villa Thamani with Private Pool ZanzibarHouses

EllaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a wonderful time. The Villa is just brilliant. A little private oasis on a beautiful, huge beach. We loved watching the hustle and bustle of local industry (seaweed farming!) from the beach as well as tons of activity including horse riding and kite surfing. Despite this the beach did not feel overly busy. We went to the west side of the island at one point and were so pleased to be on the much less crowded east side. The villa was perfect. We thought we would cook but actually having Freddy, a private cook, a few times and also eating at local restaurants was so easy and cost efficient so we didn’t bother! The restaurant next door even brought the food to the villa. Mohammed looked after us brilliantly. Nothing was too much trouble and he kept the pool and beach surrounding the villa looking immaculate. Daily cleaning meant everything was ship shape. All in all a wonderful stay and great way to see in the New Year!

Private Nature Villa Kidoti - Solomon of Zanzibar

MarcoRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Our stay at the villa in the heart of Kidoti was truly unforgettable! The serene surroundings and beautifully designed minimalistic space made for a unique and relaxing experience. Mama Sulay was an incredible host, always available to provide helpful local tips, and the chef was one of the kindest people we met on our trip, his breakfasts were absolutely delicious! The villa blends seamlessly with nature, offering an open and airy feel. As a heads-up for future guests, the main villa is within the same garden and pool area as the host’s home, so while the setting is peaceful, those seeking complete privacy should take this into account. Additionally, since the villa is designed to be in harmony with nature, there are no glass windows, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs for added comfort. Overall, it was an amazing stay, and we highly recommend it to those looking for an authentic and tranquil getaway in Zanzibar!

Baobab Treehouse Suite + Bed & Breakfast

Our stay at the Asante Sana beach cottages was wonderful. The staff was soooo kind. The swimming pool is wonderful. The view is incredible. You can walk along the sea when it is low. The activities with the hotel are really nice. Breakfast and dinner are really good. Fruits and juices are delicious. You should just not be afraid of the bumpy road and there are some insects coming in the room even if someone put a spray in the room every day during dinner. It's Zanzibar it's normal ! :) I recommend this hotel 10000% and hope to see them again one day !
An aerial view showcases the beachside setting, featuring a tranquil blue infinity pool surrounded by palm trees. Beachfront cottages with sloped roofs are positioned to the right, while the sandy beach and turquoise water are visible on the left.
