Nice apartment and meeting with happy reindeer

The apartment is renovated in the year 2017 and it is a part of the bigger building. It is located 400 meters from our home ( and the lake), 18 km from Inari (nearest grocery and restaurants) and 350 km from Rovaniemi. In the apartment you will find all normal facilities and sauna. This is a good place to see Northern Lights and beautiful nature is around you here. If you are interested to see how people really live in Lappland, but you also appreciate your own peace, this place is for you.

Cosy log cabin in Ivalojoki river with all amenities needed for a comfortable and adventurous stay: please read the full description before booking! The cabin lies on an island, the last part needs to be walked over the ice (safe from mid-December till April) or rowed with our small rowing boat (included). A cabin for those who want to cocoon surrounded by nature, gaze at northern lights undisturbedly, discover untouched snowy forests on snowshoes (included) and sleep in absolute silence.

Great place, fast and easy check-in. The sauna is definitely a highlight and the beds are also very comfortable to sleep in. However, in my opinion, there is no Wi-Fi. Especially if you're there for a week like us, you need Internet 🛜 Otherwise, everything was really great 🥰

Firstly, a big thank you to Riku’s. Even before we arrived he was very kind & helpful. Couldn’t recommend this property more highly. As soon as you drive into the area it’s like winter wonderland. The house is even nicer than the photos! Oh the view from the warmth of the cosy house was such a treat. So super private too. We hired a car & picked it up from the airport so it was very easy to get around. The beds were very comfortable & so were the pillows! My husband & son enjoyed the hot coals in the sauna at the house . Near bye there is a natural ice bath (March) nearby. We did so many activities. Husky ride was wonderful. A beginners country ski lesson & we all loved the snow habitants too. We also visited the reindeer. We didn’t see the Northern Lights but to be honest the whole trip was so amazing that it didn’t matter.

Apartment was very spacious, with multiple balconies which we enjoyed. It has everything you need for few nights stay. We first booked for 2 people and later asked Pirrko if its suitable for 3, she had no issues with extra person and there were extra beddings prepared on the couch, which we really appreciated. Was super easy to communicate with amd everything was as described, so very satisfied with our stay and can only recommend Pirrko

* Well equipped, well designed and convenient, clean, in very good condition Very comfortable bedding and sofa. Room to put down your luggage which is not always the case Spacious shower A washing machine + a hanging rack and a dishwasher * Environment: Very well located in Inari. You can walk to the 2 supermarkets, the SIIDA (Sami museum), the Sajos (cultural center), on the lake of Inari on foot. Lake inari very good for the northern lights. 30mn from Lemmenjoki Park, 10mn from a Rennes Sami farm by car * Host Verneri, who lives far away, did us a great service by welcoming us at the last minute when we didn't have a place for 2 people. He is very responsive and friendly. Conclusion: We recommend this listing that really deserves it. You won't be disappointed!!
