What a great getaway from the city. It was a bit of a drive from Austin but was super easy to find. Brian’s directions to the ranch and description of the property were spot on. Peaceful location, well equipped house and totally secluded. We enjoyed discovering the various terrains on the ranch. Hiked the “mountains”, walked the river bed, fished the lakes and went on the paddle boat. The “dark sky” is unbelievable. The kids enjoyed the animals, the hiking and the adventures. Thank you for letting us spend our spring break at your place

Serene Shores is remarkable!! The house and detached cabin had everything we needed to be comfortable. The upstairs patio overlooking the pool and hot tub was one of our favorite parts. Having coffee and tea in the mornings and listening to the gentle breeze was so relaxing. The hummingbird feeder was a nice touch. OH and the kids had so much fun with the scavenger hunt! We didn’t mind the distance from town and enjoyed being a little isolated, although the neighbors across the street were very friendly. All in all 5 stars; will definitely be visiting again! Paul was super responsive and accommodating.

The pictures do not describe the place, the beautiful cabin is on a valley secluded by hills, if you are looking for privacy and tranquility this is the place! The wrap around porch has the most beautiful views of Texas hill country. Pamela is an amazing host, thank you so much for your hospitality and can't wait ti come back!

We can not wait to go back. It was so peaceful. Everything was so nice! We had three teenage girls 13, 14 and 16. They loved it as well. The game room gave them freedom. They were able to go walk the lake bed safely and explore. We felt safe letting the just go be themselves. The back deck is so peaceful. Can not stress enough about the beauty and peace. Just to chill and recharge. The McKenzie's replied fast to meassage to questions. The sheets were really wonderful my husband I sleeped until 9 am twice and we are normally up around 6 am. Just felt so good. The house is setup great for families. We had two. So all three girls could sleep together in on room and had a bath to themselves. We had the master so great and brother and his wife had another room. Rooms are were you cannt hear ev we ryrhing going on. There was one bedroom we did not use. Can not say enough goof things loved the kitchen layout and living room. So homie and again peaceful.

This was our second time booking with Lindsay, and once again, it was an amazing experience! Her place was perfect for our group’s motorcycle trip through the Texas Hill Country. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to relax after long rides. One of the best perks was the garage, which gave us a secure spot to park our bikes. Plus, the large windows offered breathtaking views of the Hill Country—waking up to that scenery made the stay even better! Lindsay is an outstanding host—super responsive and always making sure we had everything we needed. If you’re planning a trip to the area, whether solo or with a group, this is the perfect place to stay. We’ll definitely be back!

My only thing to comment on is the kitchen. There is not a lot of pots or pans or gadgets in the kitchen so if you are planning on cooking make sure you think about all the possible things you could need and bring them. The house was great! AC was amazing! Yard is really nice because it is fenced in. Wonderful pool. Very quiet at night so very peaceful! I would stay here again!
