Cabin vacation rentals in Nowra

It was a beautiful & peaceful place to stay the host was very friendly & showed us the way to our cabin & asked if we needed anything/how’s it going when we saw him about there was only internet near the office but having no service provided us with a much needed getaway & break from everything the cabin was very private with stairs leading up to it & was an older cabin but in wonderful condition it looked just like the photos & the bed was so soft aswell as the pillows all we could hear in the morning was birds which was lovely. At this resort the river is in walking distance & camping was available which had toliet amenities the drive down had ruts from water running down the gorge so I would advise a higher/bigger car if you only have a small/low car try to take it easy we also saw a big goanna on the way up which was cool to see would stay again thank you so much for the wonderful stay

This cottage is spacious and has everything you need. It’s part of a loathe complex with plenty of pools and activities for kids. Highly recommend

Great location, way to get there can be difficult if you don’t have 4 wheelers

It was a bit too far remote for a one night visit but for an extended stay for people who want to get away from it all and back to nature, it would be perfect. Katina and Manuel were lovely hosts who couldn’t do enough for us.

Fantastic location, peaceful and private and we spent hours on the deck just watching the different weather fronts come and go. Very comfortable accommodation, loved the couch in front of the fire, and a kitchen with everything. Dog friendly and we will definitely be back.

Lovely friendly staff, lovely clean cabin, comfy bed and pillows, great to have Netflix too , bonus!! Would highly recommend!!

This is a perfect country get away for a family. We absolutely loved it and the fact we could bring our dog. We enjoyed long walks and saw wombats on the property, during the evening it was fantastic to sit around the fire place.

Ross and Joanne were amazing hosts and the stay was exactly what I was looking for. With their hospitality and advice we had a wonderful time and felt very comfortable despite less than ideal weather. It was clear that a lot of thought and care had been put into the accommodation - for example a fire pit, newspaper, and firelighters were all provided, and the kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Detailed and clear instructions for the accommodation were provided which I really appreciated, making it easy to use the appliances! Overall this was a beautiful place to stay with kind and welcoming hosts, perfect if you want to explore the nearby coasts and National Parks or equally as perfect for an unplugged getaway in a pristine location.

Incredible! We had such an amazing time at this beautiful place! The view was so breathtaking and there were lots of fun activities to do. The cabin was clean, comfortable and the bed so comfortable. Didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend to anyone!

Stay was fantastic. Great panoramic views. So close to water, food, playground. I also left some belongings behind & Vickie was extremely proactive & helpful in sending them back for me. Could not recommend highly enough. Great all round stay & experience!

We had a very relaxing stay at the funky cabin, aided in part by (sometimes) the sound of heavy rain and (always) the sound of the surf. It’s a quick walk down to the beach from the back gate and the whole area around Cunjurong Pt is really beautiful. The cabin is as described, very rustic but comfortable (although it could be cold in the winter?). The bathroom is at the far end of the bedroom- possibly an issue depending on who you’re sharing the cabin with. We didn’t meet Lua or Sam but everyone was quick to respond to messages and Sam’s parents were very welcoming, friendly and incredibly generous with supplies for the monsoonal weather we had while there. Great value for the location.

Deb’s place is beautiful. The surrounds are amazing. Sheep, Chickens and Alpaca’s are great for the kids. The accommodation is modern, clean, spacious and very comfortable. The fireplace is great. Would definitely recommend for a quiet weekend away.

Bridget’s cabin extremely exceeded my expectations. It is placed in a perfect location that looks onto the rolling hills, with no sound except for wildlife. The bed, bathroom and kitchen were great, as well as the provided bread, wine and cheese. The cabin is only ~17 minutes from Kiama and ~10 minutes from Gerringong so you get the best of both worlds, peace and quiet and little towns. My girlfriend and I did not want to leave and will definetly be making a return.

Affordable family accommodation, at a reasonable distance from the beaches. Not snazzy and the main bedroom was smallish but it met our needs perfectly. Communication from Rhiannon was great.

Myself and my Partner stayed here for our 1-year anniversary, we found the location really nicely suited for a weekend getaway. The property was clean and well furnished, and the bed was extremely comfortable, the host was very responsive to questions and concerns, and even offered alternative plans given the wet weather conditions during our stay. It is a great place to book to check out Bowral, Mittagong, and surrounding area.

Incredible wildlife around the property! Kangaroos and wombat meters away from the verandah, and all around the golf course making it feel like a safari retreat as well as a quant cottage. 4 minute drive into town made it feel isolated whilst being close to everything you want. House was very comfortable, was just an amazing experience all around!

5 Stars – We absolutely loved our stay at Billabong Cottage in beautiful Kangaroo Valley! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cottage is incredibly cosy, with a super comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the space that made it feel extra special. Victoria, our host, was warm, welcoming and very helpful—nothing was too much trouble. The surrounding bushland was teeming with wildlife, which made for a magical, uniquely Aussie experience. Despite feeling a world away, it was still really easy to get around and explore the local area. Peaceful, charming, and immaculately presented—Billabong Cottage is a little slice of heaven in Kangaroo Valley. We couldn’t recommend it more highly and can’t wait to return!

Limetree Shack was the perfect sanctuary for a short break. The property itself was private, peaceful and very comfortable and the location to the main centre of Huskisson was unbeatable. Jill was super friendly and a great host. Highly recommend!

The weather was not on our side for our stay but I couldn’t think of a more perfectly cozy place to stay in on a rainy day. We felt right at home, the place was cleaned immaculately. Instructions to get there were clear and understandable, made getting there very easy. The host, Trish, was there to greet me on the way in and was super friendly. If there has been a lot of rain I wouldn’t recommend taking a 2WD but would be fine in dry conditions, or any conditions if you had a 4WD. I am already planning a return and recommending to everyone I know. Definitely worth the stay!!
