Cottage vacation rentals in Norwood

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We were traveling for work in Massachusetts and typically we stay at Marriott property. I checked Airbnb to find a place that was kid friendly and this popped up. It was a new listing with no reviews yet, and it ended up exceeding our expectations. This cute little cabin is right on the water. Although it is smaller for me, pure square footage perspective it’s a two bedroom one full bath with a loft that sleeps two kids so the way it was set up felt like plenty of space for us. It has kayaks and paddle boards. There’s a beach and there’s a community pool. There’s an exercise facility. It easily slept my wife and I plus two kids in a fun loft that they got to climb in and out of, and grandma that came to help us watch the kids. The staff at the resort were very friendly and easy to work with. It felt very safe and private. The AC worked well. The beds were very comfortable. Overall this is gem and we will be staying here again for sure.

It was exactly what my family was looking for. It was relaxing and private. It allowed us to not feel cramped like a hotel stay, but allowed us to cook and enjoy the relaxing day. If you have a small kid, the golf cart is a must!

From the minute we pulled into the driveway, our family was highly impressed with the views from Kristen's home. We ended our 2023 summer with a bang. This beautiful home had everything you could ever need on vacation. We enjoyed the backyard with nightly fires. Our teen daughter rarely left the bunk house. We loved the fact that our own private beach was just a few steps away & the public beach was less than ten minutes away. The kids and adults enjoyed the beach trampoline. Kristen was delightful to deal with. She was a SUPER host. So many little details and extras she puts into her beach home. Already thinking of our next visit.

We needed a nice little place to stay while we visited family and friends. This was perfect. Cute and convenient, plus lots of fun amenities like a clubhouse, ball courts, kayaks and the lake. We went off season, so the pool was closed and it was too cold to boat, but it was still fun. We enjoyed walking the community, playing ping-pong and driving the golf cart.

There was nothing that hasn't been thought of to accommodate anyone that stays there. The fenced in yard was a bonus especially for our Border Collies. The beach was just a short walk, it was beautiful!

Adorable cottage, nice lay out, very clean with all of the comforts of home, a dishwasher, brand new stove, nice size fridge with ice maker. This cottage has a private backyard with grill and new teak patio set and lounge chairs for relaxing and soaking up the sun, the window boxes are a nice touch to add to the cottage charm! Beautiful location near 2 very nice beaches, peaceful neighborhood near the Cape Cod Canal for morning or afternoon walks and bike rides. Great restaurants close by, The Lobster Trap and Trading Post lounge are my favorites, also a great little store right down the street, Gray Gables Market has everything you would need for your stay. We loved our stay, can’t wait to visit again!

Linlin was a wonderful host and we loved this adorable cottage. It was incredibly clean, while still being warm and welcoming for us (and our pup). It's a little farther from the water than we had anticipated, but it's a relatively short and private walk to a dock with kayaks and beautiful views. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, peaceful and serene. A place to completely recharge! For both the 2 legged and 4 legged!

Home and area were beautiful! Everything was well stocked for our month-long stay, and they even had a jar of dog treats that our pup was very grateful for. Loved that the home was right off of a beautiful run/bike bath too. Great restaurants close by and a yoga studio within walking distance. We had a great time, thank you!

Bill’s place was just what we needed for a short stay. We stayed here for a wedding that we attended in Newport which was a short 25 min drive away. The cottage felt clean, bright and cozy. The river view was a plus. Bill was quick at responding and friendly. Thanks!

Cute spot! Loved the ease to the water! Got in first night and they even had the light on for us. Close to anything you need!! Perfect for a Mother’s Day get anyway for me and my three girls! Fished/boated/swam and had a great time! Van was willing to accommodate a late check out for. Decent price, although we ended up heading out on time I was grateful for this! Can’t wait to go back! Extremely clean lake house with stunning views and all the comforts of home. Many sweet touches throughout the three bedroom house and fully appointed kitchen. Wishing we had more time to stay, relax, and enjoy the water, but would highly recommend this Air B&B! PS. I appreciated the railings along the steps down to the house, having had a recent knee replacement.

This is a lovely home in a perfect location. Taking morning coffee on the screened-in porch overlooking the pond was easily the best part of our days. We very much hope to return soon.

We were in the area to attend a wedding and this Airbnb was perfect! We were greeted by Helena and she gave us the history of her quaint beach house and was very welcoming and informative about the area. Her beach house was cozy and the views of the ocean were amazing! We had many walks on the beach and watched the sunrises and sunsets from her cottage. We would return again if possible next year!

I loved staying at this cottage! Very peaceful, extremely clean, and a great location. Everything was exactly as pictured and described. Elizabeth was a fantastic host- accommodating and easy to get in touch with! I look forward to returning.

Exactly as described... And Sloane was incredibly proactive. The community had a water outage the morning we were due to check in and she contacted us immediately -- it was completely resolved before we checked in and she stayed on top of everything for us. Highly recommend visiting this cottage! Thank you, Sloane!

Was a great stay for my family and I.

Such a beautiful place to stay! Alexander’s Lake is gorgeous and this lovely cottage sits right on the water allowing you to take the kayaks out to explore the lake. I even got lucky while fishing from the dock and the kayak! Great views in the morning and evening. Very quiet neighborhood. Will definitely be looking to stay again!

Absolutely charming historic home, beautifully restored and stylishly appointed. Nellie thought of everything to make for a luxurious getaway. The house is as adorable as it appears in the photos—from the beautiful tiled bathroom with vintage tub to a sweet nook for coffees and teas. Calming ocean views from the bedroom and very comfortable sleep. Nellie was the perfect host and anticipated every need, including some great local restaurants. Could not recommend more highly!
