Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Northside

We had a wonderful stay at Lorna's place, very comfortable with all the amenities one would hope for. Hot showers, AC, comfortable beds, kitchenware for meal prep, chairs/towels/umbrella for the beach. Lorna was a very sweet and responsive host, and even came by in person to make sure everything was ok. The property is located 15 min from the airport up in the mountains and the road to get there gets very tight and steep in spots. We had good dry weather and were able to navigate in a 4 door sedan, but if the roads were wet I would imagine its quite difficult without 4 wheel drive. Get a jeep if you come during rainy months, and note they drive on the LEFT side of the road in St. Thomas. The climb drive is rewarded with amazing over water views of Caret Bay on the north side of the island. We got up for the sunrise every day we were there, and I'm not an early morning person. Despite some of the listing photos there are no beaches within walking distance, but Brewers Bay beach (a great recommend from Lorna) is 15 minutes drive near the airport and has great snorkeling- guaranteed to see some turtles. Coki Beach and Magens Bay are 20-30 minutes, and Red Hook where the ferries and boat tours launch is 30 minutes. If you want to be able to step outside onto sand, this is not the place, but if you don't mind a little drive, Lorna's place is great for a group of 5-6 people.

This house is awesome! Perfect for our family vacation. The house and amenities are exactly as described, the view is even better than the pictures. Huge patio, nice grill, heated pool with jets and lights for nighttime swimming was great. Just a short drive to the best beaches. Stacie and Mark were very friendly and helpful, and responded very quickly every time I reached out to them. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Saint Thomas.

We had a great stay! Plenty of room for our party of 8 to spread out! Suzy was very responsive to any requests or questions we had.

the place was fantastic as a get away for 2. it was secluded and private with a bit of a steep hill to get down so be warned about that. morning and evenings were great, we always had a nice sea breeze from the bay and could see the sunrise beautifully over the usvi. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking!

CJ and Martina's place is incredible! It's clean and well-stocked with a gorgeous view. Our entire family stayed for our 20th anniversary and for our parents' 50th anniversary. CJ and Martina were so helpful and put so much thought into the house. Staying there made the trip so pleasant and stress-free -- comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, mosquito oil lamps, beach towels and chairs, AC units in the bedrooms, Tesla power generator, the washer and dryer... I could keep going. Not every home on the island has as much thought and care as this one, and certainly not every host is as responsive and exceptional as CJ and Martina. They went above-and-beyond. I have no complaints.

This home was an absolute pleasure to stay. It feels like the perfect home away from home and definitely now my family’s & I go too whenever on island. The home was super clean, organized and offered a full guide of to things to do/eat & transportation. The hosts were very responsive and offered 24/7 service. Definitely a gem!

We had a great stay at Sabrina's place! Beautiful views and very comfortable space. Beautiful beaches, market, and restaurants a short drive away. Beds were very comfortable. Sabrina was very friendly, responsive and had great local recommendations!

This place is 100% where you want to stay if you want a truly peaceful island get away! We enjoyed the open air set up of the property, morning and evening costal mountain winds were phenomenal. (Our April stay, the multiple mini split systems weren’t needed) We were able to watch deer, iguanas and all kinds of birds on the wrap around deck. Which also doubled as a great safe and secure play area for our kids. Mike was very friendly and responded quickly to all of our questions/needs! If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful island getaway, this property is where you need to stay.

Me and a couple of friends stayed here from March 16-20. Karleen was very clear in her instructions for check in, with great recommendations for restaurants, and things to do in the USVI. She was very kind to us and let us know everything we needed. We didn’t have a car/jeep to get around so we used taxis or walked instead. The taxis can drop you off at the Airbnb, we recommend Best Taxi. The area surrounding it looked somewhat skeptical at first, but we encountered no problems walking around anywhere. The only thing we would not recommend is walking at night. An app we found useful for our stay was Cari, very similar to Uber, which will also take you around the island and may be cheaper than taxis. Thank you Karleen, for a wonderful stay, we enjoyed every moment of it!

Our Stay at Casa Grande View was amazing! It is a beautiful setting and Dean And Melissa were wonderful hosts! J had some trepidation about no air conditioning that was unwarranted. It was perfect! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place on the islands!

Feara was a lovely host and made us feel really comfortable staying there. you will need a car to get to different places but that is the case on most of the island. the place was very clean and well stocked which was nice and very quiet. air conditioners also worked great kept the place and the bedroom is cool. I will definitely stay there again

Myrla was the very best in helping us during our wonderful stay at her place. The view is gorgeous. The studio was comfortable. We went to many of her recommendations and were quite pleased. If you are coming to Magen’s Bay, she is the best

Darryl’s place was awesome. It looked exactly like the photos, and my favorite part was the private balcony with an incredible view. I felt completely safe, and Darryl was very responsive and provided awesome recommendations. I would definitely stay again!

What a gem!! I absolutely loved Eric’s place. Perfect in every way!! The space was quite accommodating and sparkling clean. The bedroom was so comfy and the mini-split cooled down everything with ease. Lots of space for your luggage. The bathroom while small had a large hot shower. Kitchen was very well stocked. Living room’s futon was a tad uncomfortable as the couch but whose there to hang out long anyway. The outside deck with awning had nice chairs and the views and lush tropical foliage were beautiful. Easy private access to the pool which was quite refreshing. The road up to the condo is fairly steep with some large potholes so glad I had a Jeep but overall pretty typical for the islands. Check in and out was a breeze. Eric provided detailed instructions on check in and specific directions which was quite helpful. I truly enjoyed our short stay here. If I were to stay on STT for an extended stay, I would not hesitate in booking here again. Pristine, private & affordable

Beautiful, quiet and private place with everything you need to enjoy the island and beaches ! On top of that you will benefit from a stunning point of view of the north shore! Special shoutout to the host, Selwyn for her warm welcome, advice and caring ! Highly recommended !

We have stayed here previously and enjoyed our stay then and did as well again.

Shibusa at Shibui is truly a stay like no other. We spent 11 days at Diane & Dorothee's place and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and serenity that their cottage offered. Plenty of space to unwind. Kitchen is well stocked, bed was comfy, huge amount of closets (with hangers!) and the bathroom is just fun (look at the pics!). Would happily return to enjoy not just the property but their delightful hospitality. Thank you both for an amazing stay!

Absolutely stunning view very peaceful very clean. Mark was an awesome host. Wish I’ve could’ve stayed longer. Looking forward to see you next time.

We enjoyed the lovely views and the peaceful, welcoming neighbors. My only complaint was that the beds were really firm, which isn't my preferred kind of mattress.

Randall was an awesome host. He delivered a new coffee pot to us immediately when the one their was broken. He also went above and beyond when the Island had one of their short power outages and delivered us batteries and mor flashlights. The view was spectacular. The house had everything we needed, plus chairs for the beach and a cooler. Highly recommend this Airbnb. And he was also able to accommodate us after our other host Joy double booked us and left us in a predicament 72 hours before we were to arrive. Will definitely come back to stay here again. Thanks again for a great stay!

Place was perfect!

Meghan's condo was absolutely gorgeous - there are truly views from every room and it is beyond peaceful. With the island not being super walkable - transportation is definitely needed to get around whether you rent a car or use a taxi. Meghan was quick to give us the contact info for a great taxi driver who wound up being our driver all week and was reasonably priced. The condo is within 10-20 minutes of most places you would go so very convenient overall!

Beautiful views in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Easy to get around the island from here. Place was as described and Francis made the check-in/out process very easy.

This place was amazing! So peaceful and serene, the beach is a 1 min walk from the from door, private with spectacular views and an absolutely perfectly oeaceful environment. The community was inviting and warm, everyone was genuinely happy that I was there and I felt like famiky with the way I was welcomed and recieved. The unit itself was perfect with a spectacular kitchen, AC, and private bedroom with ample sleeping for 4. This was a steal at the cost and would use this again if I returned. The pool was not working during my trip but it did not matter as the beach was so inviting. A car is needed to see different parts of the island but there are private picturesque beaches within walking distance. Sunrises and sunsets were astonishing and breathtaking from the bluff above the private beach, a short 10 min hike. The fire pit, was a great place to meet locals and have great conversations along with a family style BBQ to bring it all together really made this place feel like home.
