Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Northampton County

Our family really enjoyed our stay in Cape Charles. Chris’s home was more than enough space for our family of 5. It rained one day and we were able to comfortably spread out and watch a movie, read, play board games, etc. The sizable yard was also lovely! It was nice to sit and have a coffee in the Adirondack chairs while our children played. Great spot for an evening cocktail too. The home is a quick golf cart or bike ride into town. We walked to dinner our first night and it was a leisurely 10-12 mins. There is mini golf across the street and the brewery is located down from mini golf. We ate breakfast at the pharmacy which is across the way as well. We enjoyed having access to the tennis courts at Bay Creek. If it was summer, I know we would have loved the pool. We can’t recommend Chris’s home enough!

Camp Belle Haven was really a beautiful home for me and my family to stay during the Labor Day weekend. The pictures do no justice to how the house looks in real life. If you are a fan of nature and water, this is a good house to pick for your next stay. We were only about a 30min drive from Virgina Beach, which is another beautiful and fun place to visit while staying at this home. Jen (the host), seems like an amazing human. She communicated well with me, with understanding and compassion. which in-returned allowed me to feel stress-free. I know for sure I would pick this house again and again whenever I am visiting the Virginia/Maryland area.

Super clean. Comfortable bed and furnishings. Well equipped kitchen and great location. Host was very responsive and attended to every detail. We had a wonderful weekend.

The house is in a quiet neighborhood and very little noise was heard when you’re inside. The house is older and does need some maintenance but nothing that hindered us from having a nice stay! Also, added bonus - no checkout cleaning requirements!

We were in town for our son’s wedding and enjoyed our stay very much. Jason responded quickly to the few questions we had. We would definitely stay again.

Our family had a fun little girls weekend at Deja Blu! It was the perfect size for four of us - cozy and comfy with sweet beach decor throughout! The house is conveniently located just a few blocks from the beach, making it easy to run home quickly if you need. The hosts have ensured the house is well-stocked with everything you need for a day at the beach...plus an outdoor shower! Quick and easy communication too!

Very cute rental! Very responsive owners. Pictures are accurate, outside area was lovely. Cape Charles is a quaint town.

The Laughing King (and the Honeymoon Island Cottage in particular) were fantastic! A wonderful quick getaway from DC for couples. The property is gorgeous - a farm with a historic old house that is the main lodge, surrounded by hundred-year-old oak trees, a standalone cottage (that we stayed in for 3 nights), open fields, a saltwater pool, and private beach with dock and a boat and SUPs for guest use. MJ serves up gourmet breakfasts (eggs Benedict, avocado toast, French toast, quiche, etc. over the course of our stay) + coffee in the morning and also dished out recommendations on local spots to visit. 100% will be back!

Great spring break getaway to Cape Charles. The house was perfect for group of 7 and our dog. The kids bunk room and game barn were both big hits with our 3 kids. The house is also convenient to the beach, park, playground, shops and restaurants. We’d definitely rent again!
