We had a wonderful stay at Moon Smoke. Marc was an excellent host and very responsive to all of our questions. The house was perfect - clean, cozy, plenty of room for us and my mother - plus dogs. Beautiful view and water access and large, flat yard. Well equipped kitchen and sheets and towels provided. The front entry has a ramp rather than steps - This was a pleasant surprise - easier unloading and access our older dog. Easy access to nearby island by kayak or boat. We are so happy we found this house!

Thank you , Leigh for a wonderful stay at your lake house! Our boys (13 + 11) had the best time down at your dock. Plenty for them to do - paddle boards, kayaks, fishing off the dock. The inside game room space was also a great added bonus for them. We brought our dog, Wally and so appreciate when we can include him on our trips - so thank you! Would love to return!

Our family had a wonderful stay here for Spring Break - The home was spacious and accommodating for our family of 7 and of course our 2 dogs ! We would choose this house again next time we are in LKG.

Tracy and her wonderful husband are the perfect hosts! They worked with me on several occasions when I was in need. They are so friendly and make you feel like you are apart of the family. I hope to stay in touch with them. This is the best place for fun in the sun aaannnnndddd peaceful relaxation. Whatever you choose for the day.

We had an awesome time here. Great place to stay. We did find a few random dead bugs in the house, but didn’t bother us.

Sarah knows hospitality. The home was larger than I thought so there was plenty of space to check out. Things done exceptionally well: clean white towels (always a winner yet many hosts don't know this); Black makeup towels so you don't ruin the nice white towels - that was clutch; clean white bed sheets; little bathroom amenities in case you need something; CLEAN screened in porch deck (no cobwebs); uncluttered kitchen with everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving feast; large, seemingly commercial refrigerator that both my friend and I want for our own kitchens now; and lots of broadband fast wifi. Even the laundry room was neat and tidy, and with a 3rd toilet just in case... my doggy loved lounging (I bring her bed wherever we go, never allow her on human furniture) and she was comfortable in every room that held her bed.. She felt right at home which was nice. We're coming back when it's warm so we can put some floats out in the water. Great peaceful, and restful location!!!

The home is beautiful as are the views. we were close to shopping but still had our privacy. there was plenty of room for 2 boats and 2 jet skis. we had a couple of issues with the dishwasher/microwave but he was very responsive when I communicated with him about it. They were also accommodating in allowing us more time to check- out. it was a beautiful vacation.

Margaret is so easy to work with. There was a problem with the house that I originally booked (storm damage I believe) and she moved us to another place.

We had the best stay for our family vacation! I cannot say enough good things about the home, pool, dock, and amenities. Our family cannot wait to visit again! It was even better than we could have imagined from the pictures. Rusty was quick to answer any question that we had. 100/10 stay!!!

We had a large group of 11 adults and 4 kids, and this house had plenty of room for us, and lots to keep us entertained. Three of the bedrooms in the main house were very large with nice, attached bathrooms. Between all of the activities in the detached garage, cornhole boards and the pool, the kids (and adults, really) were always occupied. We rented the pontoon as well and loved it! Beautiful sunset views from the dock. We were happy to have the heated pool.. with it getting so chilly at night, the pool water would have been way too cold to enjoy without the heater. We had no issues with the hot tub, got a lot of use out of that as well! Neighbors were pleasant, but they did have a very loud tractor out doing yardwork before 7am on a Saturday that woke the whole house up. Their dog also kept coming over to the pool gates, barking, wanting to come in. Which didn't bother us personally, but something worth mentioning. Sean was friendly and responsive to questions, we would come back!

What a wonderful location and a beautiful home. It accommodated our large family and having the guest house helped keep the noise level down for sleeping/napping children. The gazebo was a great spot for the adults to gather in the evening to visit and play games. The home was clean and well stocked with everything needed. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

James was an excellent host, very accommodating. The house felt like home away from home. My family had the absolute best time making wonderful memories. We hope to return next year for the Holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The view of the lake was stunning !!!

Wow! Incredible home & property that we will definitely return to in the future. The house is new and gorgeous with a smart layout to promote togetherness yet also gives everyone a retreat to their own space. The house is well stocked & has a great game room. The pool table was a hug hit. We planned to rent a boat but everyone kept busy with paddle boarding, kayaking and floating around. The property is right next to a sand bar where folks hang out on the weekend, so we met some new friends. The fire pit was great for s’mores & the grill came in handy. The porch overlooking the lake was awesome for waking up with coffee in hand, listening to the birds. The hosts were super communicative & responsive. We had a party of 12, a mix of ages from 13 - 68, and everyone had a wonderful time. We’ve had varied experiences at Airbnbs across the country & overseas. Everyone in my family agreed this ranked among the top.

Took my family out here for father's day weekend and everyone had a great time. Really liked how kid friendly it was and the accomodations they provided. Overall great experience. Would definitely come back again.

Beautiful location! Plenty of room. Supplied everything we needed. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and drinking coffee. The view of the lake was awesome!

This was one of the nicest Airbnb’s we have stayed. It was just as we expected and more. The house was fully stocked with a full kitchen with cookware available to use, lots of things to do like games and board games, great landscaping with a private dock to dock our boat rental. Emily was very helpful and check with us to see how things were going! We will definitely be back.

What a perfect place! Everything was as described in the listing. Our family had a great couple days on the water!

We spent 5 days at Blue Pointe on Lake Gaston, after having to cancel our mountain vacation due to Hurricane Helene. We couldn't have asked for a nicer vacation, and have now decided that we are "lake people". The house was very cozy and welcoming. The layout was perfect for our family - my son, his wife and young children took the bottom floor, my husband and I had the main floor master, and my single adult children slept upstairs. My young grandchildren and dog played safely in the fenced yard, and we appreciated the Poop disposal station. The whole family enjoyed playing on the large property and fishing off the dock, and also the availability of the kayak. The weather in mid-October was absolutely perfect and we were even graced with the Northern Lights and a morning visit from a bald eagle. We had to make up our own beds and there were missing linens, but the host fixed the problem quickly when we reached out.
