Vacation rentals with a kayak in North Sea

Incredibly nice and helpful hosts. The house is a bit remote but quiet in a vacation home park. Whether you want to take a small tour by canoe or bike (included in the price) or explore the larger cities such as Amsterdam or Rotterdam by car - the house offers a perfect starting point. And there's hardly anything better than ending the evening in the hot tub.

As a small family with a son under one year old, this was the perfect place to stay. The entire accommodation is child-safe and offers numerous employment opportunities. The garden provides the basis for, for example, wonderful evenings by the fire pit. For us, the private sauna in the house was an additional highlight to round off the day in a relaxed way. The hosts are also really very friendly and gave tips for different aspects. Overall, we can make a clear recommendation :)

It was as if we were arriving at a small oasis in the middle of our agitated world. The house was even more beautiful than described and we were struck by the cleanliness of the place. In principle, it is not even necessary to leave the estate, as everything is planned to keep you entertained. The neighborhood and Ardre around the lake were also very idyllic to visit (everything is within walking distance). Véronique is a fantastic host, involved in your vacation weeks ahead. She had decorated the house with birthday garlands for our 60s, and prepared a fresh quiche as well as cookies. In short, I would recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful house, renovated with a lot of taste and attention to detail. We felt very comfortable there. Sil and John were always available when needed. The wheels are also very convenient to get to the beach quickly.

Wow! Where to start! When we book a rustic French country farm house I had no idea what to expect - but this blew me away! From the beautiful decor to the free range chicken ma that visited us every morning, the whole package was amazing. Easy to find, quiet and peaceful. Friendly neighbours and a lovely drive through the village to find it. The hosts were always happy to respond to messages on the build up to our stay, and even during it. We will definitely be back!

Spacious, clean and well-equipped house. It's in a quiet and very picturesque village (little Gieethorn). Micaela was very kind and welcoming during check-in. We spent 6 days in serenity and comfort and visited various sites in the Netherlands by car (Amsterdam, Keukenhof, Leiden, Haarlem, Volendam and Marken, Zaanse Schan, Gieethorn) knowing that we would return in the evening to a perfect house to rest. Highly recommended.

Nice stay, beautiful cottage on the waterfront. Convenient that there are bicycles to explore the surroundings. Quiet location, good beds and the kitchen has all the comforts. Definitely recommended.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is beautiful, really clean and provides all the comforts you want. The view of the water from the cottage and the terrace is really great! Outside you can also sit quietly, while, if desired, there is also plenty to do in the region. We thought it was definitely recommended!

We enjoyed our stay at Wendela's. We were warmly welcomed. The "Rosenhäuschen" was exactly what we had imagined. It was our home away from home. And we'll be back for sure.

What a great place! The house itself is pretty spacious, all amenities available, great, modern kitchen. Above, 2 bedrooms with top quality boxsprings. The view from the living room is like a postcard: wide view, open space, birds flocking around. Well located in between little towns, always something nice to see. Family De Witte is very responsive (got responded within 2 mins). I can only strongly recommend this place. You find peace in heart and mind.

Anna's house is a gem! It all looks exactly like the photos and my fiancé and I had a wonderful time there. Everything was very lovingly prepared when we arrived, chocolate and sparkling wine were already waiting for us. The facility is simply fantastic and the two cattle are incredibly cute and curious. We will be happy to come back!

Very nice old small house with private terrace and small garden right on the canal. Very quiet and rural location, but no shopping nearby. Ideal for relaxing, especially if the weather cooperates. House is very clean and well equipped, but age-related a bit narrow (bathroom). The two of us had a very nice few days and felt very comfortable with our dog.

Everything was perfect, the communication, the house itself, the view and the easy access to amsterdam city. I highly recommend this AirBnB ! ❤️

Very nice place to stay in an excellent location. We felt very comfortable. Ideal for excursions. Everything is very easy to reach and very quietly located right on the water. Very delicious breakfast from Esther for a fee. We will be happy to come back sometime. Thanks to Esther & Marc as friendly hosts.

Had a super nice stay!! Easy to find and upon arrival we already saw smoke coming from the hot tub. It was already made nice and warm. We were lucky with the weather and could lie wonderfully in the meadow on the sun loungers. Slept wonderfully in the bed. Breakfast was wonderful and very varied as well! Overall, it was fantastic and super cared for by Quinta! Definitely recommend it!

I had a great stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. Communication with the host was smooth and prompt, and they made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Wonderful place. Kids (4, 6, 8) loved the shared attic rooms. They slept through the night and had no issues with the stairs. Lovely setup with table and kitchen area too. Shower/bathroom made bedtime easy! Parking was close. Easy to turn around by the new pump station before the gravel path. Beautiful setting, lots of wildlife!

It was great in one word!

The place was great, and the hosts Erik and Jaël were excellent, very friendly and informing everything. The accommodation comes with everything you need to have a pleasant stay, with a kitchen with everything you need to be able to cook (oven, vitro, sandwich box..) and a full bathroom also with everything you need. The place is in Watergang, about 10 minutes from Amaterdam Central Station which is easily and quickly reached by a bus. If we go back to Amsterdam we would definitely go back

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

Had a wonderful time in The Blue Cottage. Beautiful location, enjoyed the view and the lake. The cottage is small but nice and everything you can think of is present. It is beautiful to enjoy the outdoors on the spacious terrace. With outdoor shower. Ina is a welcoming, kind and caring host. Recommended this cottage!
