unconventional and unique. 🌞 We quickly felt comfortable and spent a lot of time in the kitchen and by the fireplace. I'm sure we'll be back, because this place still has many facets to discover – a bit like a lively museum. Also the surroundings were exactly what we were looking for: a quiet village and an idyllic forest, for walking and strolling. Manfred was very friendly, outgoing and attentive. He gave us an exciting tour of the garden, as well as preparing a fire pit and painstakingly illuminated the way there. Communication was relaxed and uncomplicated. At first, it may be somewhat unfamiliar that the host lives in the adjacent house or has his studio and is encountered indoors from time to time, but that did not bother us any further – on the contrary, so we could enjoy some insights that would otherwise have escaped us. Manfred also mentioned this beforehand, so we were able to arrange well!

we stayed 3 nights in this apartment! We visited kassel and the surroundings. The apartment is quite large and has everything you need for a stop (especially with a 2-year-old child)... Susanne's parents welcomed us for check-in, they don't speak English but they struggled (between a few words of English and German) to explain everything! In any case, Susanne is always available by message on Airbnb!

I’ve enjoyed the stay at the apartment. Communication was on high level. Host helped us with all our requests and replied to all our questions. Would strongly recommend this place as the location is in the city center and price is more than affordable.

Overall a very nice stay with two small families. (4 adults, 2 children) Everything as described, hosts live next door and were always responsive. We will be happy to come back.

We stayed 6 nights in the beautiful bright apartment "the sky" and while I very much enjoyed being only a few minutes' walk from the seminar venue, my husband and our little daughter spent the time with excursions, which were very possible from here. We felt very comfortable in the apartment and were delighted by every little detail such as a wooden toy with a high chair and a chocolate on the nightstand! A wonderful place to relax! Super lovely hosts who were open and outgoing and helpful. The location in a cozy garden with wide views could not have been better, especially since the path to the city or to extensive hiking trails was also quite short. I would come back!

Wonderful for a few days stay. The accommodation is quiet and idyllic, yet you can quickly reach surrounding villages, on the canal or on hiking trails. The hosts are super friendly and quick to respond if something should come up. The kitchen may not be pronounced, but it is enough to make something simple. All in all, we would definitely recommend the apartment for short breaks!

We stayed there for 2 nights as we were invited to a wedding nearby. Quick and easy to check in and check out. A very nice and quiet apartment. Everything was available.

Very friendly and clean place to stay. We were in Dinslaken for a family event, so it was a very good location for us. We thought the service of getting a full fridge for a surcharge was very good. However, we did not need this for our stay.

I had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The hosts are incredibly friendly, always smiling and very helpful. Communication was smooth and easy, and both check-in and check-out went flawlessly. The apartment is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was also spotlessly clean. If I ever return to this area, I would definitely choose to stay with Tanja and Sigrid in their place again. Highly recommended!

Even though we were only in the accommodation for one night and spent little time here, we immediately felt completely comfortable. The quiet environment made sleeping very pleasant and in general the apartment was very clean and equipped with everything necessary. We will be happy to come back on occasion!

I really enjoyed the little break in Detmold. I felt right at home & could enjoy the good spring weather in the beautiful, flowering garden. There were homemade pastries, the apartment was decorated with fresh flowers & I would have liked to have stayed a few days longer.
