Beachfront vacation rentals in North Palmetto Point

We had a lovely stay at Sonshore Cottage! The house was clean, had a beautiful esthetic, extra beach towels were in the closet for our use, a soft cooler and plenty of ice packs were available for our beach outings, and more! Sarah was also a very responsive host providing us with a lot of local recommendations and help if we had any questions. We will definitely stay at Sonshore Cottage again when we return to Eleuthera!

The place is more than beautiful. The property is located on a beachfront lot. The beach itself is really serene, we’ve seen only 3 people on it over the 4 days we’be passed there…. And it was Christmas… The villa is spacious for our party of two and could ideally accomodate a family. You’ll have every accessories you need to spend 2-3 weeks vacation there. We wish we’d book for longer but decided to visit a couple of Bahamian islands on our 10 day visit. There are lots of good restaurants nearby but a car is really a must if you want to reabh them easily. We liked afternoon munches at Potlatch Club, dinners at Bougainvillea and, of course, relax snacks at Tippy’s. Barbara is a great host and did everything she could to accomodate our (belated by the airline company) arrival and departure. Her manager, Winifred, is also really pleasant to deal with and efficent. I definetly would go again and recommend the place.

This was our first trip to Eleuthera. We wanted to explore central and south Eleuthera with a house away from crowds. Exploring and connecting with the location we travel to is always a priority to us. The Round House was perfect. We only ate out twice, using the kitchen (except oven) to prepare our meals. In the evenings we relaxed inside with all the windows open listening to the Atlantic and always comfortable with the breeze. The beautiful landscape around the house makes it so easy to fall completely into the island experience. We had a fantastic 7 night vacay. Taja and Doon helped make that happen. We enjoyed visiting with locals on the island. The absolute nicest people!

The listing for Anna's place was very accurate. We booked at the last minute and were glad to find this listing. Anna was extremely responsive with just the information that we needed. Hassle free.

This is a rural island. Think castaway with WiFi/hot shower/kitchen amenities. No night life we could find but that’s ok. Just know you’re going for the solitude and ability to swim in a beautiful calm ocean and, one more thing: June’s house may look like a restaurant, but that’s their private home. She gives you access to all the toys underneath the home, though. I kayaked around the little island and that was fun.

Lovely location right on the water. Rainbow Bay beach is about a mile away and south is Coco De Mama a beautiful beach. Met some wonderful people, highly recommend Tippy's restaurant and Rainbow Bay Inn for breakfast, Stephanie and her husband were wonderful. There is a large grocery store just north of North Eleuthera airport, recommend if flying in there to hit the grocery store before heading south.

We had a wonderful time at the property – so secluded and close to the most beautiful beach – the dock was wonderful to just sit out and watch the sun set and the turtles swim by. The home was clean, and the pool was nice – this was just what the doctor ordered. Violet and Charles are very nice and always accommodating – great team.

Great stay with our kids here. Best part was the amazing snorkeling- right off the beach at the bottom of the stairs. The reef here made things calm and the fish we saw were amazing. Very private and quiet. Kids also loved the beach with waves about .5 mi down the road by Pascals restaurant. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Road to get there is rough but we loved the seclusion and adventure.

My mom and I spent four days at Golden Chalice. We loved drinking coffee on the back deck every morning and being able to walk the beach multiple times a day. Property is just as pictured. We hope to return!

This was our 5th stay in Eleuthera. This home and the setting were on the top of the list for us. The home is perfectly laid out and had every amenity you could possibly need. The pool was perfectly positioned for full day sun and protected from windy days with lovely landscaping. We have stayed on double bay beach before, and we were excited to get back. The option to have shade and a hammock was amazing. The location made it easy to visit some of our favorite other beaches and restaurants. Thank you for a perfect week in Eleuthera. We will definitely be back!

It's hard to describe Paradise, but if I had to picture what it would be like it would be Cayo Loco! The beach and the water were the prettiest I have ever seen (and I have lived in Hawaii). You can walk for miles and not see anyone. To me there is nothing better than sleeping with the windows open and having the sound of the ocean waves lull you to sleep. Plenty of great things to do and wonderful places to eat. Our host would give us updates everyday with suggestions which was so helpful! They went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. Other than the amazing beaches, the most memorable experiences we had were with the people of Eleuthera. The culture there is to be welcoming, kind and considerate to everyone. They truly love and respect their island and want you to feel at home there. We can't wait to return and hope to stay longer this time.

I could not have asked for a better place to stay in!! This was perfect for our little family with our 10 month old baby. The view was spectacular and it was so convenient walking down to the beach everyday with our girl! The kayaks supplied were so fun! My husband and I took turns while we watched the baby on the shore. Such a great location too! Felt super safe! Next to great restaurants (Tippy’s and La Bounganvillea). Hewitt the property manager on site was so sweet. And dealing with Pam was amazing. Her communication was impeccable and she was so patient with us and All our questions. The house itself was beautiful and so comfortable. Book it! You won’t find a better place or property management team!!!!

My family and I had a wonderful amazing stay at your home. Every day was a beautiful adventure, walking around the island and exploring the beaches and snorkeling. It was serene, rustic, and a breath of fresh air from our busy lives. Glad we brought food as the grocery stores were something to get used to, but it was an adventure, and everybody was so nice. We will for sure come back.

Absolutely stunning location……the home sits on acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and a clean seemingly private beach. We saw only a handful of friendly neighbors (residents) each day. It was windy so the surf was rough but we found times when it was calm enough to snorkel on the reefs right off the beach. We did bring wetsuits just in case and that helped but we also swam in bathing suits, especially the kids. If it was windy at our beach, we could take a 5 min drive to Ten Bay Beach (and other spots) on the opposite side of the island where it was protected from the winds and the water was clear and flat calm. The house was extremely clean; furniture felt new; kitchen well equipped. The BBQ was a bit rough and no gas so we didn’t use. The downstairs bedroom/bath were furnished beautifully and worked out well but it had a slight smell of paint; didn’t bother the kids. Double Bay and this beautiful home made for a dream vacation and we highly recommend Wish House!

We stayed at Sha’Nyha’s place for a week and we highly recommend it. Golf cart was waiting for us at Government dock which was super helpful. Our 16.5 year old (licensed) son drove and our 13 year old daughter navigated and we had no issues finding the place (with google maps). The place is bigger in person. The open concept kitchen-dining-living area works really well. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms and are at the opposite ends of the house which provides additional privacy. The AC units (in every room) work extremely well and keep the house nice and cool. The hammock on the porch was an added bonus. We found the house to be a true five minute walk to the beach and while we almost always took the golf cart in to town, it’s totally walkable. My husband and I jogged to Arthur’s Bakery one morning and walked back. Very doable. We did not meet Sha’Nyha in-person, which would have been nice, but her mom, Simone, came to the rescue a few times and was super friendly and welcoming.

Blue Moon was an absolutely amazing right on the Beach at Gaulding Cay Beach. There are no other rentals directly on the beach here. The water was amazing crystal clear just a few steps through the coconut tree. (Not many bugs) We used the SUP and double kayak one afternoon. And everyday we snorkeled the rock everyday. Hanging out listening to the water and coconut trees in a hammock was extremely relaxing. The house has loads of books and a great collection of art. Daddy Joes was just a short walk down the road. Gregory town is just a 4 minute ride in the car. We are looking forward to our next stay. I am dreaming about that beach and hammock!!

From front-porch sitting and strolling around the village of Tarpum Bay for the 90-year-old grandparents to exploring and scuba diving for the parents and grandchildren, this place was perfect.The location, right on the shore but in a shaded place, was idyllic. You can swim right off the shore if you wear reef shoes to get over the coral. For the maintenance issues, Samuel Dorcent, the caretaker and go-to man, was very quick and responsive. On the morning our rental car would not start, he had his friend, the auto mechanic, there in ten minutes with a big battery charger to get us going. Samuel was also just an interesting person to get to know. He was always reachable on his cell phone. The only negative review we could find complained of bugs and the lack of air-conditioning. We found that the fans were more than adequate to keep us comfortable. Picardin and deet work fine against the bugs. This place is not the Disney Resort and that’s what we liked best. We’ll be back next year.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and being within walking distance to wonderful restaurants & the beautiful beach!

I can’t say enough about Bella Mer. Our family enjoyed everything and really appreciated the location and the setup of this property. We have stayed all over the world and this is one of the finest places we have ever stayed. Everything is stocked great with cooking and cleaning gear. The generator was flawless and so nice. The beds were so comfortable and the setting was perfect for what we were looking for in this vacation. Mid-Way Cost cutters was only about 5-10 minutes down the road and has a great selection for your grocery needs.
