In 2020, this stunning villa is hand-carved from a couple hundred year old Karelian sleds. A huge view window gives a spectacular view over the water. In winter, you can access the ski slope from the ice in front of the cottage. In addition, the ski slopes of the Timitra ski resort are within walking distance of the cottage. In the courtyard of the cottage, there are good downhill skiing opportunities, as well as a great setting for winter activities. However, the city's services are available a few kilometers away.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Villa LHJ Heinämäki

Villa was build 1999-2000 as a second home from the family with basic facilities criteria for everyday living. Basic principle was to have a place to calm down but also a house for remote work in home village. Place is pretty nice on top of the hill, scenery is wide almost all over ... tens of kilometers. Style is rustic with a light twist of retro functionalism. Now we have moved 200m, on the opposite side of the road, and we offer Villa for our quest. Your sincerely Leena & Juha

The place is also great for working remotely! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Rowing boat and SUP board available. Bring your own linens and towels. If necessary, however, linens can be arranged from the accommodation.
