Nearby historical and hiking destinations include Rukajärventie, Änäkäinen, jongun river, bear trail, and recreational fishing and hiking area. ask for autumn weekends with a message, they are negotiable even though they are provisionally closed for your own use. The cabin, built from old smoke sauna logs, is located in the lake landscape of Savo, about 70 km from Kuopio. The property offers a simple, authentic and natural wilderness experience for couples and travelers seeking peace and quiet.

Alapihan Arboretum guest house with sauna

Cozy guest house and sauna in a wild tree species park. There are about 250 different species of woody trees and shrubs in the two-hectare area. The trees were planted in 1970 and form their own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is still partly in its natural state and renovation is being done in the area. Relax with the whole family in this peaceful place to stay. Valkovuokko is located in a quiet location on the shore of a lake with clean water. The cottage has a fully equipped and modern kitchen, a fireplace, three bedrooms, and a barbecue hut in the yard. A private wood-fired sauna is in the same building. The holiday cottage has its own beach. The equipment includes a rowboat, canoe, life jackets, and a SUP board. In winter, the equipment includes two pairs of non-slip shoes and regular snow boots.

Outokumpu is about 10 minutes away and Joensuu is about 30 minutes away. Koli is about an hour away and Valamo Monastery is about 30 minutes away by car. Villa was build 1999-2000 as a second home from the family with basic facilities criteria for everyday living. Basic principle was to have a place to calm down but also a house for remote work in home village. Place is pretty nice on top of the hill, scenery is wide almost all over ... tens of kilometers. Löytyy myös inventteri Pieni mökki kahdelle ihmiselle kirkasvetisen ja kalaisan Juojärven lahden pohjukassa omassa rauhassaan. Laiturilta pääsee uimaan ja ranta syvenee nopeasti. Tupakointi mökin sisätiloissa on kielletty. Juojärvessä ei ole sinilevää. Järvessä puhdas vesi uida.

Kuohu - sauna cabin on the shore of a rapid

Kuohu is an atmospheric, warm sauna cottage built in 2015 on the banks of a small river. In the noise of the rapids, you can relax in the sauna, barbecue or campfire. The cottage is located along a small sandy road, completely in its own peace. Koli National Park is about a 30-minute drive, Höytiäinen beach is just over 2km away. We rent canoes and have picnic packages with local products.
