Room#3 has views of Mosquito Harbor and islands. This room has a private bath, king size bed, which can be separated into two twins with prior arrangements. Sleeps 2 people, plus a third for an extra charge of $25 per night. A lovely vintage dressing table and work space area add to the convenience and comfort of our guests. Bathroom has a tub/shower combo. There is no TV in the room. There is a TV in the common room, shared by 3 rooms. Complimentary continental breakfast is included.

My home is located in a small town on a dirt road and very private. The rt 1 coast/ocean is about 25 minutes away and offers lighthouses, lobster and Maine hospitality. This guest room has a full size bed that is stacked with pillows and an antique quilt, dresser and closet space. The bathroom boasts of a shower as well as a claw foot bathtub should you wish to lay back and relax. There is a television, and an air conditioner in the warmer months as well as a ceiling fan as an alternative.

Drive into Acadia or to the shops, restaurants & excursions of Bar Harbor or from late June to mid Oct, catch the free Island Explorer shuttle from the end of our road.

We are the Black Friar Inn and Pub. This is room 2 on our 2nd floor. It has a private bath and the ceiling of the bathroom was once a trolley car’s ceiling. The stained glass windows give the room a rosy Medieval glow. With two comfortable chairs and a fireplace, this room has it all. We are a B&B so breakfast is included with your stay.
