Hello, my name is Jeff. Farmhouse Getaway has been in my family for 50 years. I have been a farmer/electrician for 30 of those years and my family still use the property for family events and overnights stays. The house had a remodel/modernization in 2022. After the changes, I decided to share it with friends and just recently with the public. The home includes 2, full bathrooms, 4 beds, a full kitchen, and ample parking. City lights are faraway. Relax in the outdoor hot tub under the stars, explore private forest trails, gather around the fire pit,  and enjoy watching our free-range goats, ducks and chickens. note that our home is across the driveway, so you may occasionally see us caring for the animals, but your cabin and outdoor space are all your own and we respect the privacy of all our guests. Cozy cabin & 1/4 acre pond. We're sure you’ll love this space as much as we do. Not suitable for children under 12, we strictly enforce no children or pets, and must be 21+ to book. Outdoor space, gas grill, gas fire pit. Fully stocked cabin, with breakfast items included for you to enjoy at your leisure.

We feature a large deck facing the water to enjoy morning coffee or an evening cocktail to watch sunsets. Enjoy a stay directly on the backwaters of the Mississippi River. This custom cabin is floating right on the water, and you won't find anything like it! The log cabin was built as a place to unwind, relax, and truly unplug. Nestled among 15 acres of rolling hills, the cabin can serve as a place to hunker down and read three novels, or a home base for hiking, cycling and putting the nature back in your life. Be advised, there is NO television and that’s for good reason. Cook, drink, eat, play, relax and refresh yourself. Wake up to the songs of birds and listen to the owls at night while you’re warming yourself around a bonfire.

This CozyCabin is perfect for a couple looking to get into nature and relax. This 12x18 cabin has beautiful views of the pond and surrounding acreage. Hike the 48-acre trails, take a dip in the pond or paddle around on the kayaks or paddleboards then catch a beautiful sunset from your private patio and firepit or dock.
