What a fantastic place! We enjoyed it very much. Beautiful nature with a camping feeling. The cottage is rather small but very nice. And our daughters really enjoyed the separate guest house. The large garden with all its magical places is wonderful. Alex is a great host, always responded quickly and solved any problems. He even prepared the whirlpool for us. And his dog Audrey is adorable. We can highly recommend this accommodation and hope to come back one day. Thank you Alex!

Это простое, скромное жилье. Всё, как в описании. Хороший тв, есть гриль, маленькая сауна и лодка, каноэ Есть приправы, макароны на кухне. Горячая вода на улице. Мы не разобрались с wifi, раздавали свой, но это не проблема. Неожиданностью стало то, что дом через дорогу также может использовать территорию и лодки/каноэ. И это место уже не кажется уединенным. Мы не ждали много от жилья, так как видели фото и предупреждение хозяина. Но когда приехали обнаружили целую раковину немытой посуды и везде пыль и грязь, поэтому пришлось сначала убраться. Особенно кухня на улице и в доме. Это не самое приятное. Вероятно, это вина предыдущих гостей, которые так оставили дом. Ведь любой вещи нужен уход и забота. И конечно, этому милому дома не хватает немного внимания. Но тем не менее, это место хорошее, рядом озеро, можно загорать и тд

Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse på Vätö. Direkt när vi öppnade dörren kände vi att ”wow här kommer vi trivas” Köket är perfekt för att laga mat tillsammans (vi var 7st), stugorna har jättebra gemensamma utrymmen med stora matbord, härlig soffgrupp och bra brädspel. Stugan har också massor med aktiviteter såsom en riktigt bra grill, eldplats utomhus, jaccuzzi och en stor härlig bastu där alla ryms. Sköna sängar, väldigt rent och tydlig kommunikation med Jenny gjorde allt jätteenkelt och tryggt. Rekommenderar verkligen ett besök - här kommer vi gärna tillbaka.

Thank you Joanna for a lovely stay. We stayed here for 3 nights in October and it’s safe to say that the pictures do not do this place justice. The place is private and it is an excellent location with lots of activities (kayaking, paddle boarding). We enjoyed it a lot!

Wir verbrachten eine Woche in Ericas Cottage und genossen besonders die Natur und die Ruhe. Wir haben sogar Rehe, einen Elch, Hasen und vermutlich Hirsche gesehen. Im Haus war alles vorhanden, was es braucht und es hatte viele kleine Extras z.B. im Kühlschrank. Wir haben auch gegrillt und natürlich den Whirlpool genossen. Für die Anreise war die Beschreibung von Erica sehr hilfreich - unbedingt gut beachten! Wir machten vorher beim Eldtoma Koffeeshop noch einen Halt und das Navi hat uns dann ganz zu einer falschen Schranke geführt....! Danke Erica für alles!

Very lovely place to stay when you want to explore Stockholm but prefer calm time too. Felt like I was at home. Very social cat there sat with me through night and helped me to study (distraction was perhaps bigger). Would recommend it to anyone (emotional support by the cat).

Erika was exceptionally warm and friendly. She respected our privacy while making herself very available, we felt like we had our own place in the forest. She had put such thought into every detail- the rosemary in the water, the little chocolate with the coffee, the sauna infusion scents and skin care, the practical robe for moving between the sauna and hot tub but also the super soft robe for after. It really felt like a spa. She was so generous to accommodate our difficult dietary requirements for breakfast, and she was genuinely lovely to talk to. We live in Stockholm and would love to come back!

Vi hade en riktigt härlig vecka, nära till bad med fin sandstrand. Mysig trädgård och altan att tillbringa dagarna på. Catrin var enkel att nå vid frågor. Vi rekommenderar varmt både Catrin och boendet.

Vi trivdes så jättebra i den här härliga stugan. Vi kände oss hemma, området är så lugnt och ändå nära ett fint café, havet, mataffären, äventursbad många vandringsleder och inte långt in i Stockholm. Ann-Kristin och Ragnar hjälpte med allt vi behövde och gjorde uppehållet så mysigt. Tack för allt, vi kommer så gärna tillbaka.

Trevligt hus och utmärkt kontakt med Daniel! Vi var fyra vuxna, lillkillen samt två hundar. Lite nervöst med tvååringen på avsatserna kring verandan men det kunde vi ju räknat ut från bilderna. Både han och vi älskade pannkaksmaskinen! Vi hade inget toppenväder men fick åtminstone en solig halvdag på stranden - med årets första bad.

We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

We had a great stay at Carl's place. We loved the silence and nature around the house and on the island. The house is at walking distance (15 min) from the buss to Stockholm city (appr 1 hour). There is a lot of deers and foxes in the area and we were lucky to have spotted an "älg" close to the house. The communication with the host worked perfectly and was very friendly.

The perfect little cabin in charming Dalarö. Our family enjoyed four peaceful days here watching our daughters play in the yard, taking evening strolls around the cute town and sipping wine with beautiful waterfront views. Pia is very helpful and quick to respond. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay! The location is beautiful with nice walks nearby. The cottage is very well equipped. The sauna and wharf are picturesque. Ulla and Karl-Gustav are the most fantastic hosts. Very kind, responsive and available but also respect the space. We would love to come back!

This place is such a great escape from the busy traffic and tempo in Stockholm. We came for a weekend (Friday afternoon-sunday afternoon) and could easily have stayed longer. The island is quite, and the surroundings around the house is so peaceful and beautiful. We especially enjoyed the sauna, wood chopping, barbecue, and just sitting quietly by the fireplace reading/watching movies. We got there by Uber + taxi boat from Stavsnäs vinterhamn, which was smooth and convenient. Already looking forward to come back to Skärvassa!!

Wir hatten ruhige und entspannte Tage. Das Häuschen ist etwas erhöht, die Nachbarhäuser sind zwar nicht weit weg, trotzdem fühlt man sich privat. Das Haus war sehr sauber. Die Umgebung ruhig. Ein Plus ist das private Pool. Für die Kinder war das super. Die Fotos sind nicht ganz aktuell und beim Gästehandbuch online sind keine Fotos sichtbar. Die Gastgeber waren super. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alex hat sogar extra den Pool in Betrieb genommen, obwohl wir im Mai da waren. Wir konnten uns gut entspannen. Im Sommer, wenn die Nächte kurz sind, muss man wissen, dass die Rollos nur ziemlich gut schliessen. Empfindliche Menschen werden früh aufwachen. Wir können die Unterkunft in der Natur bei Djurö empfehlen. Und auch die Bäckerei im Ort.

We had an amazing time staying at Erics airbnb. Feels like you are miles away from busy Stockholm, somewhere in the nature, but in reality your in the city super quickly. We really enjoyed the place, it was well equipped with everything you need, especially the kitchen. Bed is super cozy. We'll be back :-)

Das Häuschen von Dan liegt wunderschön über einem See, nahe der Stadt Norrtälje. Die Wohnung ist sehr modern, enthält alles, was man benötigt. Die Reinigung wird von den Mietern übernommen - daher hängt das Glück ein wenig davon ab, wer vor einem da war. 🙂 Ein schöner Steg und ein kleiner Strand sind fußläufig in 10 Min erreichbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls nur etwa 10-15 Min mit dem Auto entfernt. Es war wunderschön ruhig dort, abends stockdunkel und sehr erholsam. Drumherum gibt es viel zu sehen, wunderschöne Natur, das Meer und endlose Wanderwege. Absolute Empfehlung!

Karin's place was really lovely for a relaxing couple of day trip. The cabin was quite spacious and had everything you'd want. The beaches nearby were beautiful and saw some lovely sunsets. Karin was very responsive and helpful with instructions on how to get there and places to go. Thank you!

Önskar vi hade bokat längre än bara en helg för det var så underbart vid havet och lugnet på morgonen var oslagbart. Det kändes som vi var Pia-Lenas personliga gäster, vi blev omhändertagna och fick massor av hjälp som var extremt vänligt och utöver förväntan. Vi fick en extremt mysig start på sommaren och om vi får chansen kommer vi passa på att hälsa på igen!

Was für schöne Tage im Häuschen mit Sauna am See! Liebevoll eingerichtet, hell und sauber, sehr kurzer Weg zu Sauna und Steg, toller Blick von dort in die Natur. Alles wie beschrieben! Wir trafen Anders zum Smalltalk, ein sehr angenehmer und freundlicher Gastgeber, der trotz Urlaub erreichbar war, schnell reagiert und notwendiges veranlasst hat. Und alles ganz nah an Gustavsberg, wo es alles hat was es braucht, und nur eine gute halbe Stunde von Stockholm entfernt. Unbedingt ausprobieren!

Alles war super und der Aufenthalt war für unsere Familie perfekt!

We enjoyed an absolutely relaxing weekend at Olle’s beautiful hut at the lake. Our plan was to escape city life and enjoy nature, which we could do perfectly in the cozy hut. The access to the water and a sauna right next to it was all it took for us to feel like home and we enjoyed the time a lot and we felt like home. Perfect for reconnecting with nature, enjoy the beautiful garden and the amazing company of our two lovely hosts. Very easy going people and are down for a quick and interesting chat when you wish to. Very thoughtful and welcoming!
