Cabin vacation rentals in Normandy Lake

Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing! The host left a binder that answered our every question, even the most minute detail! And if there was a question that we had to ask our host directly, it would be answered in less than 5 minutes. The cabin was also very clean! And despite the fact that we went during the winter season, we were still able to enjoy ourselves with the games, fishing rods and other things left for us. The environment was also very peaceful with little to no disturbances. All in all, we fully plan to come back to this lovely abode!

Our family of 5 loved this get away! This home was tucked away in the woods with quick access to the lake for fishing. Spending time on the screened in patio was amazing with the hot tub and fireplaces 🥰

Absolutely fabulous spot. Very comfortable home. Private nice inside and out. Loved the property and could have easily settled in for a long time. Pretty good ride to a grocery store but not horrible. A few minor maintenance issues that I am sure will be resolved. Refrigerator failed just before we got there but an adequate replacement was provided prior to our arrival. Hope to return again!

We were looking for a quiet and peaceful cabin in the woods weekend escape to take with our toddler. Most places are either tailored to couples or are too kid focused with sensory overload. The coalmont was the perfect middle ground. Total peace and serenity but plenty on the property for our baby toddler to do and explore. Definitely hope to come back.

We have stayed in very nice Air BnB homes in several states and regions. They have all been very nice and friendly experiences, but the vacation we enjoyed at Bonnita’s property was the most noteworthy. I can’t imagine finding a better place to relax and make memories. We felt as though we were visiting family and were very welcomed, comfortable and safe. Thank you so much Bonnita and family.

PERFECT lake view log cabin! We adored everything about our stay, from the expansive window views, to the very comfortable bedding. Can’t forget the glorious deep bathtub too! The flexible check in/out time was the best Airbnb perk we ever experienced, we will be back in the future! Clean, spacious, & peaceful. Thanks a bunch Beth!

Firstly, what a beautiful piece of heaven. Not a cabin I've been to in any mountain felt more at home like living in the days of the pioneer. If you're looking to go back 100 years and also have the modern amenities and a clean environment this is for you. Secondly, the area is the safest you'll ever get the opportunity to have your family. We are a neuro divergent family of 5 and this stay brought us all back together. Last but not least, let's talk about Andy. Responsive and absolutely communicative as well as a down to earth fella he is. I wish I was getting paid for this review but I'm not and it is 100 percent worth going and I'd pay 1k a night if I had it to be there. Thanks again brother. Much love.

We loved staying here for a long weekend to celebrate my brother's birthday. The manager, Christy, was great to work with. We enjoyed the hot tub and grilling steaks at the stone and hiking nearby. Definitely planning to come back to this spot at some point for more!

First of all Shelia was there to let us in and show us around to make sure she answered all of our questions and knew where everything was. Shelia is so kind and her cabin was so beautiful and cozy. The surprise was having coffee in the morning at the end of the little trail in the back. My kids had a blast blazing a trail though the dry creek bed and s'mores by the fire. The cabin has a surprise around every corner. Wonderful place to vacation.

Our family of 5 loved staying at Amazing Grace! The location on the water was absolutely perfect and peaceful. My kids, 9, 6, and 4, spent hours skipping rocks as we watched from the deck. The king and queen beds were some of the most comfy we've ever slept in on a trip. The kids loved the loft area. The nearby hikes were gorgeous and we loved coming back to grill out and have some hot tub time! We will be back!

Michael's A-Frame was a beautiful place for us to stay on our honeymoon:) we stayed for 1 week and everything was perfect, the hot tub was great and private, the big glass front was beautiful and let in so much sunshine without getting in our eyes too much, the record player and decor was very aesthetic and was exactly the type of place we wanted to be able to relax at:) it was very safe, the back door automatically locked and the front sliding glass doors locked easily, so safety amd security was never an issue for us. Michael was very informative with all the information necessary for our stay, and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns:) I would definitely recommend staying here

Everything was absolutely stunning, every morning was breathtaking. Learning about his place made me appreciate it more. Everything was so accommodating an so relaxing nice and quiet and very private. I will be returning in June. Thank you Austin. -Amber

Inn Between was a clean, well stocked cabin located between many state parks that we visited to hike and kayak while viewing spectacular waterfalls! Returning to the cabin after a day of adventure was a welcomed retreat for quiet relaxation. The abundance of extra treats was a bonus surprise. The town of McMinnville had options for eating out and a grocery to get food to prepare at the cabin.

This is a delightful cabin in the woods. Very quiet and very private. It seems larger than it is because of a very good layout. Everything is thoughtful. I would definitely rent this place again :)

This was a great place to just get away from it all. We were a little early for the lake activities- everything was still closed for the winter- and we caught an incredible storm that we don’t get to witness at home so that was cool- but still we enjoyed being out on the beautiful porch just listening to the frogs.

This was a nice place to stay on a girls’ weekend to the Nashville area. Close enough to everything we wanted to go to, but not right in the city, so it was quiet. Walking distance to the quaint downtown where there is a darling coffee shop. There’s an Italian restaurant, but we didn’t eat there as it was a 90 minute wait - must be good! Enjoyed the large deck. Accommodations were clean and we appreciated the carport to protect our car during some awful weather moving through. I’d absolutely stay again. Things to note: The 3rd bed is upstairs-stairs are very steep & high, and it’s an attic space with a sloped ceiling. It’s a fine room, just be mindful. The walk-in shower is very small. Like the size of your body. There’s nowhere to put shampoo, soap, etc. and you cannot escape the shower head so your soap/shampoo are basically washed off immediately. It works, just no frills. The other bathroom shower is normal. Dining table only has 4 chairs. Awkward with 5 people.

A perfect retreat for my wife, our daughter, and me after the Thanksgiving rush. So homey, peaceful, and quiet, with just the right amount of kitsch. Comfy beds, beautiful setting, cozy furnishings, everything we needed to unwind. This unit is a surprisingly roomy two bedroom (king bed and bunk beds) with a full bath and spacious living room/kitchen combo. We’d love to come back when it’s warm enough to be outside, but the 20 degree temps kept us inside and toasty, watching tv, playing games, reading, etc. We highly recommend!

Fantastic space and Michael was a great, responsive host. Highly recommend for anyone on a fishing trip or just who want to enjoy the river!

We loved Ann's place. Hiking to the waterfall out back was a special bonus. It's very close to Fall Creek Falls which was a great excursion. The home has comfortable beds, rooms, and hangout space.

Will definitely stay again next time we are in the area. Nice quiet and private area with local restaurants close by. The 11:00 checkout was very helpful and allowed a more relaxed final day.

Very lovely cabin. Actually looked better in person than it did in the photos. The hosts were very responsive and attentive. The kitchen is fully stocked with seasonings and cooking supplies. We loved the rocking chairs on the screened in porch. Only downfalls were a good bit of the dishes that were put away were not cleaned, but you are expected to load those into the dishwasher yourself. My assumption is that previous guests did not rinse the dishes before running them through the wash and someone put them up after not checking them first. Not a huge deal. We can't speak much on the amenities offered at the cabin because we stayed during bad weather, but it was the perfect cabin for an unplugged weekend with just board games and food. Overall, it was a really great place to stay and we would personally go back.

Very nice and comfortable place!

Let me start by saying, the cabin was incredible. Felt like stepping back in time. Very well done. Our host even dropped off fresh baked cinnamon rolls and cake for us. Excellent surprise. Now the rest of the story… My wife and I chose this location to escape from the storms in mid TN. Weather reports looked decent. 1:00 in the morning we were woke up to tornado warnings and then it hit. Horrible experience and terrifying to be in a strange place during a tornado but, the cabin survived and kept us safe. Cindy the host was in immediate contact with us making sure we were safe and her husband came in person to check on us. Our terrible experience has nothing to do with the property or the host, both were beyond fantastic and for that alone deserve your business. We will definitely be back hopefully when the weather is better. Thank you Cindy for being a caring and wonderful person. Mostly thankful for the cabin that did its job and kept my wife and I safe.
