Cabin vacation rentals in Normandy Lake

This was really a beautiful place, it is looked brand new inside and they had a great amount of supplies, everything you would need for a great stay. We gathered in the family room, loved the huge kitchen and high end appliances, and really enjoyed the hut tub, fire pit, pool table, and views. Just a super place at the top of the hill. We stayed for my wife's 60th birthday and had a great experience.

Such a great spot for a cozy, stay in kind of weekend. Lots of good hiking near by as well. Very quiet and peaceful. Had everything we needed. Very responsive and kind host. Would love to come back next year for another stay!

The Pines was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay at! The host was kind and responsive if we had any questions. Some tasty local food spots to try that are nearby would be the High Point and the Mountain Goat Market. The Pines also offers menus of the local restaurants which is pretty neat. If you’re going to Monteagle and looking for somewhere to stay, The Pines is the place!

The home was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The small details made the difference compared to other properties. For example, the towels were thick and soft. The kitchen had measuring cups. The re were small battery powered lanterns that were great at night. The path to the fire pit was lined with solar powered lights. All the small details matched the description of luxurious. We loved watching the wind on the water, turtles sunning themselves, jumping fish, frog songs and blue heron tiptoeing through the water.

Loved this place I definitely recommend! It was private but also had other homes nearby so you weren’t completely alone in the woods haha. They recommended amazing hiking spots that my husband and I went to see and it was so fun. We’re from Illinois so it’s mostly corn fields so hiking through mountains and seeing the waterfalls was just an amazing experience. Overall this home was lovely and our hosts were friendly/great people. Must see.

If you’re coming for the caverns and need a place to say Shelia’s home is a perfect spot. It’s not to far and it’s an amazing home. Even if you’re not coming for the caverns this is a great spot to just bring the family or even just a great relaxation spot but her home is 100% worth it so I would stop searching and book this place!

Peaceful & quiet! Bed was very comfortable . Hot tub was great! Didn’t really use the well stocked kitchen because there are great restaurants a short drive away. Great location for our needs!

A great scenic stay for a quick night. We had our poodle pup with us and was perfect in the woods camp with other cabins, several cabins have a shower ours did not but it was fun glamping by the fireside at night and played life-size chess before breakfast :) Would stay here again!

There were 11 of us from ages 1-46 & we had a great stay! Plenty of space to accommodate us all, the area was so nice and peaceful! The home was up to date & had something for everyone! We had a small issue with the wifi & jose was quick to reach out to us for help! Would stay here again & again! Worth the money!

The cabin was just as pictured, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. The WI-FI was absolutely reliable, I worked the second week and in a lot of video meetings, it was perfect. The outdoor deck was cute and comfy and very peaceful surroundings. I was alone for the second week and felt very secure in the cabin. The grocery is a half mile down the road and I was pleased to see that they were a full service grocery and carried everything (despite the small town)! Great quality meats and produce too. I tried the Grindstone Cowboy and it was great and easily walkable access. Pam was proactive and responsive ( I couldn't find find the remote for the living room lighting and she responded right away). I would recommend this cabin and hope to stay again sometime.

Fiancé an I wanted a private get away, had eveything we needed, amazing view, nice to wake up to the birds chirping.

Good communication and perfect locations for a bachelor party. Just good, clean fun, fishing, kayaking and having a space to cook and hang.

The stay was great! The hosts were great! The communication between booking and checkout was great! Any questions I had they both communicated back within a timely manner. We had an emergency situation and the hosts worked with us. The location and the house were so beautiful! Everything was worth it. Definitely booking again whenever coming back to Tennessee.

Cynthia was so nice to allow us to check in early! She greeted us personally and treated us with a special bag of baked goods! We also loved being within walking distance to the Fiery Gizzard trail. An overall wonderful experience!

I stayed for 10 days and felt right at home. The kitchen is well-equipped, there were plenty of towels, quality bed linens and comfy furniture. I was surprised by the location. It looks like it’s on the West/Sewanee side of I-24 but you have to go through Monteagle and cross over I-24 to get there. It wasn’t an issue as everything is super close. Mountain Goat Market is down the street and so delicious!!

Great place. Very clean. The pictures do not do it justice. Felt like home. A great value. We were very pleased with our stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfectly kept - very clean, not cluttered, and quite spacious! Everything was labelled so well, we didn't have to waste any time figuring things out. The screened in porch was lovely on the nice crisp morning we were there. The beds were comfortable. Very close to Fiery Gizzard trail! I definitely recommend this.

My wife and stayed here with our two young children for the weekend. The property is secluded and relaxing but close to everything that the area has to offer from hiking to restaurants in Monteagle or Sewanee. The house was very clean and well-equipped. The weather wasn’t great the weekend we were there so we didn’t get to take full advantage of the property as there is great outdoor seating and a fire pit. Overall it was a great stay.

Our second year staying here for a weekend! We adore this spot. We visited the vineyard next door this time and had such a lovely evening listening to live music, then after enjoyed the fire pit back at the cabin. Hope to be back again next year!

This is THE place to be. It’s very close to local scenery and it’s perfect for a large group of friends. The neighborhood is quiet and the houses are far enough apart. We will definitely coming back! Everything in this house works well, nothing is broken and all the instructions we needed were clearly stated. It’s perfect! Definitely stay here if you can. If you’re on the fence about booking this place, THIS is your sign to go ahead and do it!

We had a wonderful stay with our young kids at the White Deer Lodge. The cabin is so comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. The cabin is well situated to hiking trails and swimming holes too. Plenty of restaurant options close by - love the Mountain Goat Market right down the road. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Absolutely loved the cabin!! Beautiful views from the decks!! We got to do a little night fishing as well as daytime fishing. Brooke responded quickly and was very helpful with instructions finding the cabin!! We will definitely be back for more fishing adventures! We would have definitely used the kayaks if the water levels had been a little higher and if it wouldn’t have rained so much!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and exactly as described. We enjoyed making s’mores on the back patio and loved that there was a table big enough for our family to eat breakfast during the peaceful morning hours.
