Apartment 2 on the Harz in beautiful nature

The apartment is on the upper floor of our vacation home, which was completed in the spring of 2020. The house is located on the outskirts of Bad Harzburg/Westerode district surrounded by fields and meadows overlooking the beautiful Harz Mountains. The transport connection is very good, so you can quickly reach the nearby cities such as Goslar, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg or Braunschweig by car or bus and train from Bad Harzburg. Shopping facilities are also available in the village.

Right on the Harz in the small village of Veckenstedt, is our lovingly and comfortably furnished vacation home for up to ten people. In 2018, we decided to renovate a large part of the building and convert it into a vacation home. The renovation was completed in mid-2020. Our country market and bakery are within walking distance (5 minutes). Ample parking space is available for cars. For motorcycles, there is also a covered and lockable area.

The apartment is located on the 1st floor of an old farmhouse. The farm, which used to be completely closed, was decisively shaped by Gustav Neuhoff, the hostess's grandfather. Hence the name FW Gustav. The nearest shops are in Derenburg, 6 km away. Heudeber is a quiet village, but the nearby A36 offers quick connections to the highlights of the Harz Mountains. My "little hut" is located in the beautiful village of Stapelburg in the Harz Mountains between Wernigerode and Bad Harzburg/Goslar. Last year, a real gem with a lot of love for detail emerged from a "junk shed." My place is on a quiet side street, and parking is available right in front of the house. The "Schüppchen" is hidden behind my house and is accessible via a comfortable external staircase.
