Boat vacation rentals in Nord-Pas-de-Calais

Loved Maarten’s boat. Was a great base for exploring Ghent and a 10-15 minute walk from lots of restaurants and the old town. Very close to T4 tram stop. We loved the cosy boat and walking the gangplank each day. Breakfast in a hamper at the door when we woke up! Maarten is an excellent host and very quick to respond.

Excellent accueil et rapport qualité prix. Franck m’a même aidé à résoudre un problème professionnel. Je recommande vivement.

Très proche du centre-ville, le logement est spacieux et agréable. Jean-Marie est passionné et est un facilitateur. je recommande.

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 9 Personen. Der Aufenthalt auf dem Schiff war etwas besonders. Jeder von uns hatte eine eigene Kajüte und somit genügend Platz für sich. Die Toiletten und Duschen mit heißen Wasser waren sehr gut. Das Boot war gemütlich, so dass wir die Abende dort verbracht haben. Die Küche bot genügend Utensilien, um für alle zu kochen. Das Boot liegt direkt am MAS. In der Innenstadt ist man in wenigen Gehminuten. Auch einen Supermarkt erreicht man zügig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Nous avons passé trois nuits à quatre dans l'habitacle du capitaine de la péniche Lucie. C'est une expérience ! Un cocon où il fait bon se retrouver au chaud après avoir visiter les marchés de Noël de Gand et de Bruges (desservis rapidement par l'autoroute). Nous avons apprécié pourvoir faire notre petit déjeuner et notre diner car la cuisine est très bien équipée. Les chambres sont étroites mais c'est normal, nous sommes sur un bateau ! Le matin la vue sur le canal est très agréable avec le levé du soleil sur l'eau et l'herbe gelée ! La literie est très confortable et la salle de douche fonctionnelle. Nous avons tous aimés cette expérience, d'autant plus que les hôtes sont très accueillants et présents sur le bateau. Nous recommandons cet hébergement aux personnes qui aiment l'insolite avec du confort !

Merci pour l'accueil, ma fille de 4ans était aux anges de pouvoir dormir dans un bateau ! Très belle expérience ! Le bateau était propre, pas d'odeurs.

Après la visite du Nausicaa, nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour sur "La dame des lys " Très rassurée par la sécurité du lieu (pour nous et notre voiture). Nous avons passé une très bonne nuit et n'hésiterons pas à revenir si besoin.

Pour une nuit d'avril j'avoue que nous avons eu la chance d'avoir le soleil en compagnie ce qui a rendu le moment encore plus magique. Endroit paisible et propre .Juste dommage de ne pas avoir la vue sur le large.Nous avons adoré cette expérience avec nos deux enfants.Merci Justine et Quentin

an exciting and different air bnb, peaceful surroundings and lots to do. The boat is great and different to somewhere you would normally stay. very tidy and clear space.

nous avons très bien dormi, environnement calme, très beau séjour, hôte très sympathique, et un plus avec location de vélo à l entrée du port de plaisance (30s à pieds) qui facilite la visite de cette belle ville

Had a great stay on the barge. Loved the location and it is within easy walking to the town and some great restaurants. We enjoyed a cuppa in the morning on the front of the boat while the sun shone. Initially disappointed that the two bunk beds have gone, as we came with our two young teens, but they found the sofa beds comfortable. Really quiet, had no trouble sleeping. We stayed two nights so didn't cook on the barge, decided to try the restaurants. The 'pit-stop' coffee shop right by the boat was closed during our stay but there is a great French bakery in town where we bought croissants for breakfast. No trouble parking. Good communication from Samir and kindly lent us some playing cards which we had forgotten to bring. At low tide the bridge access to the boat is very very steep! It made us laugh. Not for those who have difficulty walking or with lots of shopping!
