Bushland Lake House Immersed in Nature

Escape into the wilderness at this beautiful cottage surrounded by lush 27 acres. The holiday retreat features flowing indoor-to-outdoor spaces, wood finishes, pops of colour and a covered wraparound deck with a BBQ dining area and several day lounges. We are located near Lake Cootharaba, the starting point to the Noosa Everglades; explore the Everglades by Kayak or lovely walking tracks & the Beaches @ Noosa. We live on the property too, the Lake House is private and quite separate to our House, but you will hear the birds, farm animals and our kids as they frolick around the acreage. A beautiful spacious, private and open plan light filled cottage with every luxury you could want. There are views to the garden from every room, yet, your location is private and picturesque. No noisy neighbours, no pesky campers, just a place to relax, unwind, the hugest deck to read your books in the sun on our comfortable lounges, stroll through the gardens and our very own walking tracks, spot a Koala or Kangaroo, listen to the birds as they dart through the trees, watch the black cockatoos as they fly lazily overhead, come and enjoy the serenity in this piece of Paradise. We provide you with every creature comfort for you to combine your peace, WiFi, Netflix, Books, Board Games, Espresso machine, beautiful designer linen for your comfortable bed and luxury towels for the bathroom and organic bathroom products for your stay. This is a place to relax and unwind. Just bring your wine and cheese to relax, enjoy the sunset on our lovely deck as the sunlight casts shadows over the water. You have full access to the Lake House Cottage and it's fully self-contained. There is a shared driveway, but you will have your own residence, undercover parking and be able to come and go as you choose. You will also have access to the 27 acres to explore and the dam to relax by with a wine or do some fishing. Please note we are in a wildlife area and precautions should be taken. We will greet you on arrival, but then the space is your own. Enjoy and relax. You will be fully self contained in your beautiful Cottage with 27 acres of bushland and gorgeous waterways to explore and return to continue to unwind with a glass of wine, books, games, DVDs, Wifi and movies. The property is located in Boreen Point close to the Noosa Everglades & Lake Cootharaba, the beginning and highly protected area of the Noosa River System, which guests can explore by kayak or boat. We have great walking tracks close by, bring your bikes and enjoy a day around the lake. We are surrounded by nature, have farms close by, so if you enjoy the sounds of nature - you'll enjoy relaxing on the expansive. We also live on the property and are here to make your getaway peaceful. Whilst the residence is private, we also live on the property. You will not be able to see our house from your Cottage once you’re inside (we share a small driveway). The views are your own and private as the pictures show. We do have two children who do enjoy our property too - swimming and fishing in the Dam. Whilst you will have privacy, there will be the occasional sounds of children playing. It’s something to bear in mind when you book. We will absolutely endeavor to make your stay peaceful and delightful, as we believe it will be and as we have found in this piece of paradise, but the occasional chuckle from children between the sounds of Kookaburras laughing, Black cockatoos crawing, the local Guinea Fowl cackling as they go past is something to keep in mind. Please also keep in mind we live in the Australian bush, there are animals that roam the property - we have Kangaroos lying by the dam, beautiful birdlife, the neighbour's guinea fowl roam the property a few times a day doing their patrol, and we do have a few creepy crawlies. The joy of having this beautiful piece of paradise, is we do share it with the locals. There are the occasional snake and spider but they generally keep to the bush and are more scared of you. We also have some mozzies at some times during the year, they come out at night but we provide you with mosquito repellant and coils in the cottage so you can enjoy the sunset on the deck.
