Great place to base from to see Kanchaburi. Better with own transport but cabs are affordable. Loud music from river traffic is real. Best to just enjoy it. This place is visually stunning, but the area it is in, is louder than you expect. It is quiet at night, fortunately. There's a great restaurant 750 meters away.

I have stayed here for 4 days, as this place seemed to offer everything I needed for some quiet workation. It served its purpose very well! This cozy cabin is functional, done thoughtfully, well-equipped (with all you need for cooking). It is private with a nice garden, it's beautiful to sit there during sunrise and before sunset, listening to the sounds of nature and birds chirping. Staying at Kantavika's place was definitely one of the highlights of my visit in Kanchanaburi! Kantavika is a very responsive host, she was always there to help with any question or issue I had.

Beautiful house, clean, very good atmosphere. Perfect for relaxing. Leave yourself in the house. I love that there are 2 large bottles of water with food served at the house. Typical taste. Normal price When it's dark, there are a few bugs. Very little for floating villas. Overall, it's great if you have the chance to go back and stay again.

Beautiful home in an incredible setting. We had an amazing couple of days exploring the local area during the day and then relaxing at River House in the evenings. Keith and Nina were great hosts and were always helpful and responsive.

The place was perfect—just as described! It’s an ideal getaway for a quick family escape from Bangkok. The house is beautifully designed, and if you love traditional Thai architecture with stunning antique furniture, this is the perfect spot. The pool and garden were lovely, and it’s only about 10 minutes from Amphawa Floating Market. Highly recommended! The host was also very nice, with easy and smooth communication.

in 12 years of using airbnb, this place is easily my favourite. beautiful, peaceful house surrounded by greenery and rice fields. i felt right at home. the house had everything i needed & more, leelawadee even shared some of her delicious food with me. she is an outstandig host, very friendly and caring. she helped me out with everything and made sure i was comfortable. i loved to talk to her and listen to her music. there are cats and the sweetest dog i haver met. if i could give this experience more stars, i honestly would. if you're looking for a quite place outside the city (but still easy to reach by scooter!) this is the place to be. i can't wait to come back!

Great location to spend a few days in the countryside with the kids. Loads of cyclable trails behind the house, huge garden. Water filter is a plus. Beds were really comfortable.

Sukalaya is a wonderful host - so incredibly friendly and went out her way so many times to help us. We even managed to go to a few outings together and had a really good time. I highly recommend staying here, you’re surrounded by nature and the town is quiet with everyone being friendly and accommodating. It’s easy to find drivers on Grab nearby with places to go like the Elephant Park, Erawan and Sai Yok Waterfalls. Don’t be scared to ask the locals! Overall extremely pleasant experience, and the lack of WiFi isn’t bothersome, great in fact for a nice and peaceful getaway, especially after being in the city!
