I had to accommodate my aunt at the last minute and Mr Muhoro was very flexible and the additional charges were very reasonable - thank you! I liked the flexibility in allowing us a late check out - that was really considerate. I liked the responsive communication and follow up to check if we were ok. I liked the cleanliness of the place, and the kitchen had ample utensils for our group of 3. There are a lot of nearby restaurants and attractions - from local nyama choma to high end Panari hotel, there is something for every budget. I was also able to see Thompson falls for the first time in my life!! I liked that the place had very good wifi. Would definitely recommend the place, and the host Mr Muhoro. Thank you! Mama Muigai Crater Point

Muigai welcomed me, communicated, arranged his nephew to meet me at Nakuru as guide to the hidden Airbnb gem. Mama Muigai a warm hospitable host, very communicative, very generous who provided awesome authentic local meals. Moreover, enjoyed the view of Menegai crater, sun rise and sun sets in her back yard. She took me around the garden which was inspiring. Mama Muigai introduced me to her family warmly, highest regards to her Sons, Daughters, grandchildren, & neighbors. Being a farm comes with some challenges, of which mama Muigai & family meet the challenges with solutions accordingly. I had an awesome time. Blessings and thank you for your awesome hospitality! Highly recommend Mama Muigai's place for an awesome authentic experience.

lf you want to enjoy some solitude and some peace and quiet for a while, then the Good Ol Days Farmhouse may just be the place to be. It is a little of the track, but provides the most enjoyable experience of being in the country. The hospitality is truly to be commended.

A haven of silence ans stars. That's what they say and... it is true! The place is so quiet. The property is huge. Plenty of flowers, trees, aromatic herbs, vegetables and birds. Some friendly cats and dogs wandering around - but not inside your cottage. No wifi, no TV. The place is perfect if you like to retreat, relax, read a book or walk around. The area is safe, beautiful and quiet. If you don't have a car, no problem, they have taxi drivers who will charge you just a few hundreds kenyan shillings from/to Nyahururu. Best of all : Philomena and Stuart, the owners, are really beautiful people. We warmly recommend their place. Alain & family.

We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay—everything was smooth, and the customer service was excellent. On the day we arrived, we took a lovely walk around the area and visited Tafaria Castle, which had been recommended. The next day, we hiked to Mount Satima and were especially grateful for the owner’s help in finding a shortcut to the Rhino Gate—it was only a 20-minute drive from the property. Their local knowledge made a big difference and made everything easier. All in all, a very nice experience and highly recommended!
