Spent a wonderful couple of nights in a pristine cottage, surrounded by nature but also very close to everything N. Wales has to offer. Lliwen was an excellent host, proactive and responsive, and felt immediately welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Both couples in our party were highly impressed. Steven was very welcoming and we appreciated the supplies to get us started. Everything in the house is of a high standard and very comfortable. Outside there are superb views from outside seating and the hot tub. There is a good barbecue and we enjoyed cooking and eating outside. Llangollen, Bala, Ffestiniog and Snowdonia are nearby. Luke came and introduced himself and he and Steven are the perfect hosts, very charming and helpful but not intrusive or fussy. We definitely would love to come back

Just returned from a lovely few days away at this beautiful cottage. It was very clean and had everything you would need with a hot tub and sky as an added bonus!! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side so didn’t get chance to sit outside in the lovely garden but it didn’t affect us having a fab time in the hot tub! I found the house great especially with a crawling 10 month old as it’s all on one level. We took our own travel cot and small highchair as I wasn’t sure if this was provided but we didn’t ask so it may have been. We would love to return in the future I can imagine it being amazing in the sun. Paul and Emma were very responsive checking if we found the place ok and replied straight away to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend this cottage. We also found it great value for money. Thanks again for a lovely stay. 😊

Had a lovely weekend break at Rosie’s property, the location was excellent just off the Rhyd Ddu path and in a lovely quaint quiet area. The cottage had everything you could ask for and was very clean and tidy, the hot tub being a lovely little touch. Had a really great experience from start to finish, Rosie was very helpful and the instructions provided were excellent. Would recommend to anyone contemplating!

We loved our stay with Nick and Charlotte. They were very helpful and made us feel very at home in beautiful surroundings. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub after a long walk in the mountains!

Our host was incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay. Quick to respond, full of great local tips, and genuinely welcoming (and it made all the difference). A fantastic cottage for an old group of friends to reminisce and explore Snowdonia. Everyone really enjoyed the stay, spending most of the down time in the huge kitchen. Lovely house for a group - everything we needed and more. Spotlessly clean and everything had been thought about which is really appreciated. Angharad was great throughout - flexible, helpful and really responsive. Definitely recommend and huge thanks :-)

We stayed here three for nights. It's a really nice traditional cottage, with modern features making for a very pleasent stay. Jason the host was very informative and was easily contactable if needed. The cottage is set within in a small, quiet hamlet of houses, and is a short, several minute drive to Bangor. We would definitely stay here again. Thank for a lovely stay.

We stayed here for a belated anniversary getaway and absolutely loved it! The cottage was exactly as described. It felt like a home away from home and the views were stunning. We wanted a break from the city and we got it! It was so peaceful. We loved having the log burner so we could get nice and cosy in the evenings playing board games. The cottage is close to lots of amazing walks, and not too far to drive to others. Belinda is a fantastic host. Before we arrived she sent loads of walk recommendations and clear instructions on how to find the place. There’s a handy booklet in the living room and lots of leaflets on things to do. We stopped to have a chat with Belinda and she’s so lovely. It’s obvious how much care is put into the place. Whilst we were sad to be leaving, we’re so glad we chose to stay here and we’ll definitely come back again. Thank you Belinda!

This is our third stay at the cottage and it never fails to delight us. It’s located in the perfect spot, a quiet area, but great access to various places on the island. There is a dog proof private field adjoining the property for our whippet to have a run around when she is in the mood. Also, the garden is dog proof too. Lovely views of the bay and some incredible sunsets. Pippa has put in bird feeders so if you are an avid bird watcher you won’t be disappointed. The cottage is well equipped, warm and cosy making you feel at home the minute you arrive. There is also a grassy area opposite the cottage where you can park your car if it’s too big to park in the drive. Although, make sure you don’t block the entrance to the field. Thank you Pippa for all the goodies you provided us when we arrived and for the great communication prior to our stay. We cannot wait to come back next year and explore further.

A truly wonderful stay! This was our first time staying at an Airbnb we usually book hotels—but we had such an amazing experience. Kerry was absolutely lovely: super kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Our visit to Aber Falls, menai bridge wouldn’t have been possible without her, as we didn’t have a car she kindly offered to drop us to Bangor Station, which was so generous and thoughtful. Escaping the hustle of London and staying in a beautiful, cosy cottage that felt like home was something we didn’t realise we needed. It was peaceful, relaxing, and just perfect. Thank you so much, Kerry—you made our trip unforgettable! 💛

Absolutely stunning place! I booked it for the view, but the entire surrounds of the place are beautiful! Feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, with just rolling hills. Was hard to find with the instructions given, but Emily was on the phone to give me a hand. The barn itself is gorgeous, the big window is amazing. I had the double doors open most of the time. I loved the solitude, and can't wait to come back 😊

My dog and I had a fantastic time at Cae Fabli. It was clean and cosy. It was such an enjoyable two days and in a lovely location that was close to family for me. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back and genuinely missed it once I left Thank you so much Jane!

Down in a secluded valley, where your neighbours include ancient trees, a babbling brook and a hooting owl, there is a barn. This barn has been designed with the utmost care and attention drawing on natural and reclaimed materials. Light floods the space during the day and provides a comfortable, warm refuge from which you can watch the brooding clouds as they threaten you from up above the surrounding hills. At night you are plunged into a deep, natural darkness. The location is perfect for those seeking some degree of solitude or to be immersed in nature. Only a short drive delivers you into the heart of Snowdonia but there are countless miles to explore on the doorstep for those wanting to evade the crowds. Anna is a perfect host. You could go your entire stay without seeing her but if you need her, she's there. Anna and Andy are kind and interesting people and clearly love the space that they have created. I'm only grateful that they are willing to share it.

Really great stay in an excellent location for exploring north wales. Bus stop right outside the front door a huge plus!

Sue and Mark are fantastic hosts, making me feel welcome and at home from the moment I arrived. The cottage, garden and views are amazing with everything exceeding expectations from the listing description and photos. Also, there should be an Airbnb award for best kept driveway :-) Highly recommended.

What a heavenly home. Stunning views of the estuary. This is the second time we have stayed. We loved it so much we came back. Would highly recommend.

Wir waren das erste Mal in Südengland und Wales und waren wirklich begeistert. Tolle Landschaften, charmante Orte und gemütliche Pubs. Städte wie Bristol, Cardiff und Liverpool, aber auch die kleinen Ortschaften wie Tenby und Llanberis sind zauberhaft, kurzweilig, lässig und toll zum Urlaub machen. Sehr begeistert waren wir auch von den netten und sympathischen Leuten und den vielen Gesprächen und Kontakten. Die schöne und gepflegte Unterkunft ist in einem charmanten alten, kleinen Haus. Groß genug und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Unser Favorit war der tolle Garten mit Blick auf die Berge und den Snowden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank.
