Welcome to the cabin in our garden in Nordmarka – perfect for relaxing close to nature. The cabin has a 120 x 185 cm bed and a daybed. Duvets and pillows are provided – please bring bed linens and towels! The kitchen has a cooktop, a sink with drain, and a water tank. A bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, and washing machine can be found in the basement of the main house. In the garden, you will find a dining table, a fire pit, and a small stream for swimming. From here, you have access to both the forest and the city: Snippen train station is 5 minutes away – 20 minutes by train to Oslo S. 🌲

Short distance to: Stovner center with all facilities, subway and bus stop, hiking terrain. Parquet in the living room and bedroom, tiles with heating cable on the remaining floors. Simple and cozy cabin 40 min drive from Oslo. Sleeps 4-5 people. A family bunk bed, a trundle bed and a daybed. 4 seats with duvet and pillow. Please bring your own bed linen. Electricity, kitchen and fireplace, no dishwasher/water inside. Note: Only summer water and own outhouse. Great outdoor and hiking opportunities all seasons. Winter: ski slopes, ice rink on Harestuavannet, ski lift a short drive away (Varingskollen) Summer: Private bathing jetty, private rowboat, trampoline in the garden, great hiking opportunities on foot and by bike

Perfect for city and countryside holidays. 15 minutes by car to civilization or 20 minutes by train to Oslo S from Snippen station 200 meters away. To Varingskollen Alpine Center it is 20 minutes by train the other way. Nordmarka's hiking trails and cycling routes start at the doorstep. The host lives nearby and is available. The house has 20 sqm floor area, but is effectively utilized with loft, large ceiling height and good window surfaces. The terrace is south facing and sunny.

The location of this welcoming hut is stunning and well suited for the outdoor lover who wants to relax and enjoy nature. The camp fire setup and direct access to the lake front are just perfect for peacful days. With the canoe you can go fishing or just expore the nearby waters. And in the cabin you have everything you need for a nice weekend: a well equipped kitchen, games, books, a radio (DAB+), woodstove and a guitar. Unfortunally the cabin is not easy accessable by public transport.
