Vacation rentals with lake access in Nile

Ahmed, his place, and his process were fantastic. Very communicative. Very accommodating given a couple snags we had traveling. Additionally the previous reviews rang true - he was super helpful with coordinating trips to Abu Simbel and Luxor. He also made the demystified the ferry when we arrived. His place was clean and accommodated 4 adults well. Thank you Ahmed for the great stay.

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Houseboat65. I was there with five other folks - a couple & their two kids (8 & 11) and another single person. We had the three apartments on the second floor — perfect. I got lucky and slept in a gorgeous three-room space surrounded by windows, which filled the room with light. We spent a lot of time on the Nile-facing porches, chatting and having cocktails. It felt like our own little slice of calm and peace in busy Cairo. Jerome and the amazing Marie (we love you, Marie!) were beyond responsive: anything we needed (and that wasn't much: these spaces are well-stocked) or any time we needed assistance with luggage, etc., they were there in a flash. Marie served as our driver and top-notch tour guide for two days and wow - we felt so comfortable and well-taken care of. She knows the city so well and didn't hesitate to take us to some very far-flung locations. We can't WAIT to tell our friends about our stay and hope we get to come back!

A beautiful villa with an even more beautiful garden. The villa is divided into two wings: The east wing is very large with several rooms, very stylishly furnished, antique furniture and a beautiful roof terrace overlooking the huge lake at your doorstep. The west wing is an independent small house with a bedroom and living room - separated by a beautiful antique room divider - for up to 2 people at the other end of the garden. The large garden is a green & colorful flowering oasis in the middle of the Oaste Fayoums. Flowers are blooming and birds are chirping everywhere. Many birds and a cat live in the garden. There are numerous shaded areas, arbors, swings, seating and sunbathing areas by the pool and a barbecue area. Perfect for a vacation with family or friends, but I also felt very comfortable alone in the peace and quiet. The house is located in the artists' village of Tunis with lots of beautiful pottery nearby.

We had an amazing holiday at this house on the lagoon! It’s the perfect spot for kids, right next to the pool and with beautiful views of the lagoon. The house is super nice, clean, and had everything we needed. Big thanks to Mahmoud for being so responsive and making sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely love to be back!

Elgouna plus presented by Youssef, was very reaponsive, supportive and welcoming. The place is amazing and exactly like the pictures. Would love to rent again from Elgouna plus even if not same place.

I absolutely loved my stay at Somabreeze. Not only is the apartment beautiful, well organized, and with great views, but Mahmoud made the entire experience incredible. He is the most accommodating host I have ever interacted with and helped me with every single thing I asked of him. Right in the heart of downtown, surrounded by fantastic restaurants and trendy cafes within walking distance, close enough to enjoy the buzz but far enough to maintain a peaceful stay. The place is perfect overlooking the pool and the lagoon as if it s all yours. Very calm neighbourhood in Gouna. Cozy apt. Check-in process was super smooth and easy. Apartment was very clean & neat. Most importantly, super friendly host who is caring, responsive, flexible & helpful. We are definitely coming back :)
