Central with store below, also a chip shop, a shopping centre with all different kinds of shops, coffee shops/ restaurants a 5 minute walk. Bus routes right outside the property taking you to city centre, portobello beach is a 20 minute walk/5 minute drive would recommend. It’s great to walk along the promenade with a coffee.

A bus service into Edinburgh stops every 10- 15 minutes, the bus stop is a 2 minute walk away. 25 minutes by rail to the Scottish Borders or to the centre of Edinburgh from the local Eskbank Train Station, a 20 minute walk from the tower.

Portobello Beach is 15 minute walk away which is a must see especially with kids they will love it in all weathers. Buses (every 10 minutes) stop at end of the street to city centre which takes about 15/20 minutes. Co-op, post office, and various takeaways at end of street. Travel cot available if needed NO parties we will be contacted to deal with any noise at the property as we only live a few minutes away. Ring doorbell has been set up to monitor this.
