I had a wonderful stay with Sonia and Stephane! From the moment I arrived, they were incredibly warm and welcoming. Stefan went out of his way to recommend great local spots and was always happy to help. One day, I mentioned I wanted to go snorkeling, and he generously lent me snorkeling gear at no charge.. above and beyond what I expected! Sonia greeted me with such kindness and made me feel at home right away. They also kindly accommodated me with an early checkout, which I really appreciated. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Tamarindo. 10/10 these hosts treat you like family.

Espaço ótimo! A cozinha compartilhada é bastante ampla e completa. O hotel está super bem localizado, perto da praia e de diversos bons restaurantes. Natália é muito solícita e simpática.

This place is so special!! Wonderful hosts, gorgeous nature/property. We did the bioluminescent kayak tour and it was so magical - don’t skip it! Hosts were super communicative and helpful in our getting there, and made it so easy to arrange the tour and the breakfast add-ons. They recommended a walkable dinner spot for us that blew our minds it was so great. The unit is so cute and rustic in the best way, with the most incredible view. The steps down to the water and hangout/breakfast area are no joke, so definitely make sure you are prepared to go up them at least 1x per day.

This is a wonderful apartment. The huge terrace is a gem, as it offers a nice view. You can lay on the sunbeds and see many birds flying around. Claudine is a nice person, and her breakfasts are delicious. It is a great place to stay if you want to see the Carara National Park and take one of the crocodile tours.

This place was one of the best experiences we had during our time in Costa Rica. The place is incredibly beautiful, with a garden full of animals and a very welcoming pool. The host is incredibly friendly and helpful! Everything there is unbelievably well-maintained. They do a few little things that make a big difference, such as using extremely good mattresses and drying the rooms when you’re not in them.

Francisco ist ein toller Gastgeber. Man merkt ihn kaum, aber er ist immer da und ansprechbar, wenn man ihn braucht. Er hat immer Zeit für Empfehlungen. Das Zimmer entspricht der Beschreibung und die Lage am Strand ist toll. Beim Frühstück hat man unterschiedliche Wahlmöglichkeiten. Der Kontakt zu anderen Gästen ist vorhanden.

Dalia was so nice and gave us a warm welcome. We felt like family! There was another woman there that was also extremely nice. The breakfast was perfect! Great pitstop 20 minutes away from the airport. We ordered an uber to the airport and it was nice and easy. If we need a spot near the airport in the future we will definitely be back here! Idyllic surroundings - gorgeous and accessible. This place was exactly our pace. Breakfast was lovely and the pool was clean and perfect. The beach access is directly off the lawn and it’s breathtaking, especially at sunset. You share a bathroom with shower with one other room.

Villa Alta has the most remarkable hosts and is a very spacious, clean, and inviting home! This home is in a very quiet neighborhood, and yes there are lots of dogs at all the homes, but I never heard them when I was sleeping. There are beautiful views of the mountains and the bay, you can sometimes hear the mono congos in the nearby forest when you sit on the deck, which I did often, enjoying the cool breeze or the rain falling. I would suggest you have a vehicle as it is not easy to get to a market or the nearby towns, which have some interesting history and sometimes shows. Hope you catch the local dancing demonstrations in Esparza! I will return if just even to visit with Jose and Leda, who everyone should take time to get to know! Best examples of Pura Vida!

Dione's room is separated from her house by a short walkway and porch where we ate breakfast and chatted each morning. She makes something different each day. The private room included a mini frig, excellent air conditioning and was otherwise well-appointed. I loved the thick towels! We really enjoyed the birds in the trees around the house, hearing the howler monkeys and seeing white-faced monkeys at a distance. We appreciated Dione's tips on local experience gems and, of course, the fine sand of beautiful Playa Carrillo. We strongly recommend this host and AirBnB!

Arthur is a great host, and makes a stellar breakfast too! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to be close to the hustle and bustle of tamarindo, but in the peace and quiet of this lovely place!

Everything was top notch, will definitely come back again!

El hotel tiene buenas instalaciones. Todo está organizado, prolijo y limpio. El personal se mostró siempre muy atento a nuestros requerimientos. Brindando información valiosa de la zona: atractivos turísticos, locales comerciales, etc. Lo único a mejorar es la señal de wifi dentro de las habitaciones.

Everything was great during our stay. The location is perfect, near the beach, supermarket and restaurants. The room has everything you will probably need, also the shared kitchen is well equiped. The hosts are very friendly and the breakfast was definitely the best part of our stay.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Casa del Conde war zwar nur sehr kurz, aber sehr schön. Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und würden wieder hier übernachten.

Anna and Michael were phenomenal hosts and so welcoming! We are so happy we started our trip with them. They provided great tips about traveling around Costa Rica and we learned so much. Chef Michael’s food and margaritas were outstanding!! Highly recommend the pork loin and fresh catch. Their private patio provided a great atmosphere for wildlife and peaceful vibes!! Pura vida

Stayed in the sunflower room. It's a beautiful house and great location. Mario is welcoming. recommended for a stay in Herradura.

Convenient place for a quick stop in Liberia. Andrea was very easy to communicate with and had good local recommendation. They are doing some remodeling, so the yard and some other places were a little rough looking but everything was functional.

Damiano and his wife were great hosts! Friendly, welcoming, open and kind. We were truly blessed to stay there. Beautiful Airbnb and local to great attractions like Tamarindo. The room was great, clean and spacious. So glad we picked this location and will book again if we are in the area. Highly recommended!!!
