Vacation rentals in Ngakawau River

We had a wonderful stay at Brent and Annette's beautiful apartment. The views are spectacular and the apartment has everything you could want or need for a very comfortable, relaxing stay. It's a short easy walk along the coastal path to the main part of Kaiterteri where the coffee shop, restaurant and small supermarket are. We went into the Abel Tasman park from Marahau, a short drive from Kaiteriteri. Would highly recommend hiring a car if you're flying into Nelson and staying in Kaiteriteri as a base for exploring the park. If you are not going into the park, you can join a kayaking trip from Kaiterteri or just have a beach holiday on the pristine sand and clear clear water of the bay at the end of Brent and Annette's road. Brent and Annette are great communicators, very responsive and super friendly. We had the best holiday and hope to be back before too long. Thank you so much.

Great place to stay. Home away from home feeling. Great being out in the country but also 15-20 minutes away from town. Sharyn was very friendly and helpful. I loved having the farm animals around. The place was very clean and tidy. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!!

We had a fabulous time at Gerry and Carol's place. I wish we could have stayed longer. The house was super clean!! And WOW, what a great view of the Ocean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing! A true find if you are able to stay here, highly recommended. We will be coming back for sure. 5 Gold Stars!!

A really nice air b and b, so clean and well equipped, host had thought of everything. Just one thing there was no communication prior to arrival which left me worried that we would turn up and not be able to access the property, shouldn’t have worried but would have been better to have some instructions from the host about access. Other than that a perfect property in an excellent location with the best sunset you will ever see.

The location is in front of the water with great views, walking distance to the beach and lagoon, easy access for kayak and SUP, walking distance to two great place to eat. Great accommodation for family with bunk rooms for kids and games. The kitchen is great to cook your own meals and well equipped. Clean and functional space, it seemed larger than on the photo with nice front outdoor space and table.

We had a wonderful stay at Mike and Anne’s place. The space was spacious, clean, and very comfortable — exactly what we were looking for. Mike was a hospitable and thoughtful host, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it to others!

This was our last stop on our two week trip around central New Zealand. We stayed in many lovely air bnbs but this one was by far the best! The view of the ocean, the privacy, the spaciousness, the nature, and the hot tub under the stars made this stay our absolute favorite! AND the beach below the home is the most beautiful beach I’ve ever been to! 10/10 highly recommend staying here!
