Had a great stay here. Awesome location, right across from Bar Beach and good walking paths along the coast. Dave was quick to respond and helpful. Have already recommended this place to a friend.

We had an incredible time at Vicki's place. The location is excellent, and the natural light in the apartment makes you want to stay in all day. It was spotless and had all the appliances we needed. If we return to Shoal Bay, we would definitely book it again. Vicki was very helpful and responsive, when we accidentally locked ourselves out, she had it sorted within 15 minutes. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would absolutely recommend this place 100%. It was phenomenal.

Nice Seaview from back yard despite the weather was not good during our stay. Definitely recommend for everyone who wants to have a good time with family.

Bernadette’s place is a great find! Beautiful view overlooking the pool and lake, and the complimentary coffee/tea/cookies were a nice touch. Bed was also super comfy! Would definitely stay here again

Jonathan is the most amazing host. The apartment is absolutely breathtaking and I was not prepared for the view. The place is of a high standard of quality and cleanliness. The kitchen is equipped with quality supplies. And the kitchen towels are abundant and fresh (I'm a chef so this was so beautiful to see) everything there that you would need for a home away from home. luxury bathroom with more than adequate supplies. Peaceful, safe, amazing living and dining area, the most freshest bed I've ever slept in. Thank you so much, Jonathan for having me. I recommend this place so highly and with the assurance that it's the best airbnb I have ever stayed and will definitely be coming back.

Second time coming back here, particularly appreciated the addition of the coffee machine with a range of pods - very nice touch. Some towels weren’t out, but found them in the closet, so no real problem there. Very clean and well appointed, I’d happily return.

Beautiful views, seen dolphins each morning and perfect sunrises! Had some beautiful lorikeet visitors on the balcony also, honestly took 2 minutes to get from the apartment out onto the beach, such a nice quiet apartment block and location! Can’t hear any street noise , just the waves on the shore, and the wildlife 😍 The place was super clean, comfortable beds also! self check in which is perfect, makes things so easy! Lovely hosts very friendly and helpful!

Tasman was very responsive and helpful throughout the duration of our stay and the place was exactly what we were looking for!

We absolutely loved our time at Sand Lakehouse! It is a beautiful place to unwind and watch the water; so much bird activity on and around the lake, it was just wonderful. The house itself is spacious and appointed thoughtfully, and there was nothing we lacked. The fire pit made for a fun night of toasting marshmallows and the local ducks provided much entertainment. The bliss of having a cup of tea on the jetty cannot be overstated! Stephen was a responsive and helpful host, and there's even an IGA within walking distance for anything you've forgotten. A great place to stay; we would highly recommend.

Peaceful and relaxing place right on the river. Clean and cosy house. Kev and Kez were quick with responding to the messages. Would love to come back again.

We stayed in Kate’s place over a weekend to celebrate some significant birthdays with the family ranging in age from 71 to 0. It suited us perfectly! Well equipped for babies through to more elderly. 3 bathrooms, laundry and 5 bedrooms with separate TV room. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets, cosy fireside and fun on the lake at the bottom of the garden. Take board games and books. Location worked very well for us as some travelled from Sydney and some from Newcastle on a Friday evening. Can thoroughly recommend.

The location is perfect for a short getaway and very suitable for little kids. The house was very clean and has great amenities for kids. Renee is also very proactive with recommendations and the likes. We had a great stay!

We had a lovely family getaway at this beautiful home. The space itself is spacious, well-designed, and perfect for spending quality time together—especially with the pool and outdoor area, which have so much potential for relaxing and making memories. Although we encountered a few hiccups during our stay, the host was incredibly responsive and proactive in addressing them, which we really appreciated. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests' experience. With a bit more attention to detail, this property could be a standout holiday home. Knights ridge felt like you were in your own secret valley , surrounded by ancient rock walls . Peaceful and uplifting . A picture out every window . Lots of rain just before our stay so the Creek was flowing and a vibrant green gully Lovely autumn colours . Lots of space and everything you needed for a peaceful break away from city life . The house was rustic and inviting with many collected unique pieces . Lots of space and different places to just be in the moment . Big sunny deck to relax Beautiful warm fire 🔥 that kept the house cosy . We spent 3 magic days there Loved it was off grid and so private . We definitely like to come back one day 💕

Beautifully renovated barn in a peaceful country location. Everything we needed for a 4 night stay with sensational hot water and pressure, which was very welcome for a cold and wet weekend. Stephan was a great host who provided clear instructions for check in and met us on arrival to explain the property and local attractions, and ensured we had a relaxing, peaceful stay

Have had a lovely week at Mark and Leah's apartment in shoal bay. Loved the views and the place was great, everything you needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Shoal Bay itself has a really laid back vibe, with great places to eat right at your doorstep. On our drive home we were already planning on coming back, which speaks volumes on how much we enjoyed our stay.

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.
