Came for our first family vacation with our 6 month old for Bridge Day. Beautiful location! Right on the river can’t beat it. Amazing hosts with an adorable dog. Very serene and secluded area. Was just about right in the center of all of the spots we wanted to see. Was about 30° at night and we stayed nice and cozy inside.

This is the perfect spot for a bachelor party weekend. We came out to do some white water rafting, so the location was perfect. The pool, hot tub, outdoor grill setup is top notch. Our only criticism is that the kitchen is a bit of a wreck with a ton of water leaking out of the fridge and a heck of a lot of mold growing under the sink. That doesn't bother 9 guys on a rafting trip, though. Absolutely would come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Shed! It was perfect for my husband & I. An added bonus was that it is pet friendly as we have two small, senior dogs that travel with us. The cabin was clean & modern....just adorable & had everything we needed! The Landing Strip is in a beautiful neighborhood on top of a mountain! It's so peaceful. Loved that it was only a few miles from Pinnacle Creek trail 11, a gas station, grocery store, Family Dollar, DG & places to eat. Each night for dinner we ate at Rebel Smokehouse and Burgers. Very busy place but for good reason...the food is great and the staff is outstanding. They make you feel right at home. Also only about 13 miles away is Burning Rock ATV Park. Highly recommend for a day trip! Had never heard of this place and stumbled across it. It is not a part of the H&M trails so you have to pay a ride fee but well worth it! Casey was a pleasure to communicate with and was on the ball responding promptly with any questions we had!

The house in Charlton Heights was perfect for a family gathering. We met there from 2 different states and found everything we needed at this home. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and nicely furnished! I recommend this house for family get togethers. Christina is responsive and provided a great escape for us. As a first time staying at an air bnb this place set the bar high! Cozy enough but with plenty of the household staples you need. Loved listening to the ambiance of nature outside at night. Place was very clean and had plenty of towels, sheets and blankets just in case. Highly recommend this place and hoping to come back down to stay again and to see Lucy!

This was an adorable tiny house. Very nicely kept, clean and the fire pit was a huge plus. The house was clean, host was fantastic and the town is super cute (Honeybee Coffee and Donut house right down the street was amazing!). Probably the only caution I have... If you are 6ft or taller you may want to find other accommodations. The loft ceiling is very low and the kitchen and shower also have a pretty low ceiling. This was not an issue for our stay since we were both under 6ft, but I was not expecting it to be quite as small as it was. But overall it was a lovely experience.

I am very particular about where I stay. We would definitely stay here again. This is a very old home with a lot of character. It was truly like staying at a friends house. Very cozy. There are 3 bedrooms and a comfy couch. The kitchen was easy to cook in. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean. The linens and towels are not brand new, which was a bonus because they were super soft and comfy. They were all clean and fresh and smelled wonderful. The beds and couch were very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the Wii U. Karen was more than helpful and was super attentive and happy to help us with anything we needed. I was concerned that with it being a pet friendly rental that it would smell like dogs but it definitely did not. The trains do come by often. If you wear ear plugs they won't bother you at all. Honestly we enjoyed them. They are close enough to see and hear but not so loud that they hurt your ears. Our kids and family definitely recommend this rental.
